We forgetting the number of times Levy et al., shafted him?We forgetting him lifting his skirt up for United and Madrid whilst he was with us?

Nope. That’s why I think it is a bad idea. Loved us under Poch but Levy is not going to change. That is beyond any reasonable doubt now. Will just sour the legacy when he mugs him off again. We forgetting the number of times Levy et al., shafted him?
The hope is we’re now in a position to back Poch now that the stadium is up and running. Give Poch a competent sporting director and the level of backing Conte has received. Agree. It is “hope” though isn’t it? After 20 years, we should be able to state “we know” he will be backed because everyone at the club is fully aligned re: direction. I guess it will be the usual half-assed, differing opinions, whoever is cheapest approach to recruitment and “get a tune” out of this lot MP/insert name of next manager. The hope is we’re now in a position to back Poch now that the stadium is up and running. I would only bring Poch back if he was the one doing the surgery. Complete rebuild like he did last time, only this time with the weight of the new stadium behind him, and no wembley, books published or Amazon documentaries. Just let him work.Merely delaying the major surgery required at this club.
No.
The major surgery i'm alluding to is the upper echelons - out of Mauricio's remit i'm afraid.I would only bring Poch back if he was the one doing the surgery. Could do both - and in fact, if we do bring Poch in - major surgery should be required. We need to get younger and quicker - at nearly every position.Merely delaying the major surgery required at this club.
No.
I’m ready for him to come back
Never going to happen under Levy. I would give it until Christmas at the latest before Poch has cut off all his fingers and the players are wearing black armbands in memory of Levy's dead donkey. Actually, maybe that's what it will take to get Levy out. The next escalation would be for Poch to burn the stadium down as per the script (it's a movie ref in case anyone is wondering wtf I have just posted).I would only bring Poch back if he was the one doing the surgery. People can keep saying this till they’re blue in the face. But at the end of the day, Levy is the one calling the shots, that’s unlikely to change. So your argument against Poch falls completely flat there, because that’s an argument against every manager on earth coming in. The same argument could even be used against Conte staying. The major surgery i'm alluding to is the upper echelons - out of Mauricio's remit i'm afraid.
But even an overhaul of the squad would be fanciful as you'd imagine Levy will ask once again for the incumbent manager to try and turn water into wine.
Was that intentional? Well played if yes.Said this before but I do think Poch is the perfect coach for shifting the players holding us down.
RIGHT NOW he knows their limitations. A new coach would need a preseason and time to convince Levy.
Poch will tell him before he takes the job. Poch needs to bery smart though to get that and not let Levy trip him up.
It doesn't make my point redundant though?People can keep saying this till they’re blue in the face. But at the end of the day, Levy is the one calling the shots, that’s unlikely to change. I just want to enjoy watching Spurs again.
He is, if he is able to shake the attachment he has to the players who were with him for the good times.Said this before but I do think Poch is the perfect coach for shifting the players holding us down.

Well precisely. I wouldn't want Pochettino coming back and tarnishing his connection with us (the fans and club) if it was going to be same old same old.Never going to happen under Levy. Go to bed sonCome home, Dad
So what? We all just stop bothering and hoping then?It doesn't make my point redundant though?
The inherent problem remains if (and indeed, when) Conte leaves and whilst we can eulogise about the great prodigal son returning, the end result I dare say will be largely the same as before.
'Enjoying' Spurs again will inevitably lead to expectation and this won't be fulfilled unless there's change at the top.
