Thank fuck we didn’t agree it. The football before the WC was poor for the most part and completely foreshadowed our form in 2023.

Agree and as I said and some laughed at this we were better and far more enjoyable to watch under Ryan Mason than we have been under our last 3 ‘elite’ managers.
Obviously not saying he should get the job but it also shows that the last 3 managers we’ve brought in aren’t all they’re cut out to be and that it is possible to get our squad playing nice football with a manager who actually wants to do that with their tactics.
Not the point, you dont go around spouting that bollocks as a route to misdirect fans attention. Whats AC Milans title last seaosn got to do with us barely creating a chance in 180 mins against a Milan team who are sixth/seven in Seria A? Its insulting our intelligence.
Id rather he come out and say - I fucked up. I should do better.

They’ve won more than we have recently, and we can’t deny that. But they’re not ‘above us’. Neither of them could improve our team. I can’t buy into this elite manager tag - surely if your managerial skills are so elite, you can improve players and implement some sort of system to get your team an edge. At the very least you can make a sub to turn a game. Needing the best players in every position doesn’t make you an elite manager.
