Works out for everyone. Conte gets out of a job he clearly doesn’t care for anymore for a bit of Easter spending money.

Levy has the cover to fire a very well reputed manager who has won more titles than we have (although crap in Europe).

Mason gets another chance at management

And we all get a little bit of hope, no matter how false it might be, that things might change.

Levy has put bid in to buy UTD. His 1st signing upon success is to buy Kane

Our club is a fucking mess.
We lurch from one fuck up to the next and I have no belief that's gonna change anytime soon.

Conte was Levy's last roll of the dice for me and he's fucked that up, for many reasons.

Really struggling to find any positivity in this whole mess.

Opposite I think - lots of choices not currently in work so why waste time with Mason?
Is there an argument that even a free agent manager may prefer to come in at the start of pre-season with a clean slate, rather on the tail end on an existing season?

IIRC Conte was apprehensive about taking the role mid-season.

I’m looking forward to the new guy “running the rule” over the squad, telling us how the stadium and training ground are “world class”, that we are “a challenge he couldn’t resist” because we are “a great club with a great history”.
Most importantly they will make us proud.

I’m sure the club will paste in the next managers head on this caption
