I like Mason he’s a nice fella and clearly liked. I don’t want to see him coach us right now tho, too big a job like I wouldn’t want to see a 7 year old driving a Range Rover.

Well not every problem, no. But you can’t argue that going from having Ben Davies and Eric Dier as backups, to having Ben Davies and Eric Dier as first choice players is not progression and is one of the issues as to why we concede so many goals.

You also can’t argue that having ndombele, Lo celso, winks, Rodon, etc on the books is causing us issues when trying to recruit players, either through a lack of spaces available or because we are still paying part of their salaries in some cases.

Or maybe you can and every problem can be pinned to Conte.
I really don’t get why people keep saying Dier and Davies were back ups and now starters. It’s a fallacy, they’ve both played a lot under all the managers that they’ve had since joining the club.

Get Arry back for the feel good facta.
Also, I hope we keep the set piece coach, our corners have been pretty good.

And if Poch or Tuchel don't get it now then it would appear that they aren't going to get it at all.
I wouldn't be too unhappy with that.
Can't stand Tuchel and no matter how much I love the bloke, I just can't bring myself round to thinking that Poch back is a good idea.

That being said, what does it really matter who comes in next because nothing will really change.
God! I hate caring so little about the future of my club.
Fuck you Levy, fuck you right in the face for making me feel like this.

10 games is more than 1/4 of the season and it's going to be in Mason's hands? Probably a little bounce after getting rid of Conte but what else does he have to offer? He's 31 with zero experience apart from 6 games after Jose went,we had a bit of fun when Bale finally got some minutes but remember us being absolutely schooled by Bielsa's Leeds after he tried to go toe to toe with them, any comparison with Arteta is ridiculous,Arteta was Pep's number 2 for a good couple of seasons,Mason probably puts the cones out . Would any other premiership club or championship club for that matter consider Ryan Mason for their manager?

He might not be in charge for all of the games.

I never was as switched off from Spurs as I am now. I can't see anything positive coming out of this sacking. No direction from the Club whatsoever.

agree. Doesn’t matter who is appointed as the people at the top have NO clue about football matters, and the squad is toxic!

And Davies is fucking class, there aren't many better, it pains me when I see people list him as a player that must be replaced.

Dier was very clearly back up for Toby and Jan. Davies was back up for Rose. I don't think that in itself is an issue, players can develop and improve and grow into a starting place. I think the issue with Dier and Davies is that they have not developed the consistency needed to be key starting players for a club with ambitions of winning things.

He's a true servant to the club, came through the youth system, played for us, left, got a terrible head injury and got offered a coaching gig. He is spurs through and through.... nobody expects him to be Arteta 2.0

He will do as is asked of him by the owners who reached out to him when his career ended.... the next point isn't aimed at you per se..... the self hate for players who've come through our academy or English is just ridiculous.

You have left out one reason why he may get the job. He’s Kane’s best mate!
