It’s a mess. No manager. Prob no director of football. God knows how many players coming back to preseason from loans. Levy then got to sort all that out while trying to convince someone to come. Prob finish in the ECL not CL so that will have a bearing on which manager is coming

All these people moaning that Poch did the “bare minimum” at PSG and that he still doesn’t have the winning mentality to kick on etc etc….Nagelsmann also did the “bare minimum” at Bayern. He just about won the league and was on course to not win it this season. He won a domestic cup but got nowhere in the champions league last season. I don’t know who the right choice is, but am certainly not one who subscribes to the notion that Nagelsmann is head and shoulders above Poch. In fact, in terms of a career, Poch has vastly more experience, and certainly knows the premier league.

I don't think there's a majority in favour of any candidate.

My personal preference is Nagelsmann followed by Gallardo but if Poch came back I would also be happy.

I'm totally sympathetic to those who say it would be a retrograde step but if we can't get one of the other two then I'd rather have someone with obvious affection for Spurs and see where it goes.

A managerial target won't decide on coming based in CL or EL etc. It will be based on our ambition, clearing of the decks etc. a proper plan and his ability to take the team forward.

Regardless of whether Paratici stays or not I highly doubt Levy will allow him the opportunity to appoint another defensive manager. Levy is at most games home and away.... he has seen the rubbish on display.... Levy is a fan too... he isn't stupid he knows and understands that the proven winner managers haven't worked ( I don't blame him for trying that approach)

They have 6 weeks to appoint the right man and also resolve Harry Kanes future. Its not all doom and gloom.

It reads to me that he can’t believe people still haven’t accepted that Poch is waiting for Madrid and JN is who we’ve chosen to push for

I've decided for the benefit of the club and it's supporters to step down from all football matters, and to get advice on appointing someone who has a long term vision and will go back to playing exciting and creative football. The comment was frustration aimed at the persistent hard on for the return of Poch when its been said several times it isn't him.
