Is there anybody on here that trusts Levy with any manager?

This is the least excited i've been about us getting a new coach...........Ever!

Hasn't the penny dropped yet?

If it wasn't for all the good options out there right now, I would agree... Surely we can't mess this one up ? 🤷‍♂️

The round of consultations continues for the future of the Tottenham bench on the sidelines of what will happen between now and the end of the season. In recent days, in Switzerland, according to what has been learned exclusively by Sportitalia.com, a match between Fabio Paratici and the very young Reims coach William Still took place . The latter is therefore a candidate for the Spurs bench next season.
Imagine we hire the ex Football Manager game manager as our next manager after Jose and Conte :ROFLMAO: that would be the most Spursy of all Spursy things ever, I'd probably be done with the club at that point for a while tbh as we may as well put a circus roof on the stadium and charge entry to our circus act if so.

Lol imagine if Poch ends up at Chelsea

But he's apparently not good enough for us 🤐
I'm not sure if most that are against him signing, feel that he is not good enough. I think it's more a case of, been there done that, try something different.
I love Poch and that alone makes a case for me in terms of him not coming back. He had us right on the cusp of winning something and the signs of consistency were there but the board/Levy let him down. I know some were saying that he was too ridged with not accepting alternative signings when his first choice was not available but was that lack of availability down to Levy offering 70% less than the asking price? (rumored).
Just like Bale who held a great status with the club and come back and diminished this to some extent , I don't want Poch to do the same. Now if this new man (Munn) is going to have a clear run without Levy sticking his nose in, then maybe Poch coming back may work, however I doubt Levy is capable of doing that.

Oh we can very easily find a way to go from the great list of 8 realistic options to ending up with another Nuno, wouldn't put anything past Levy. It could end up being Stellini or Mason or Glasner or Galtier etc etc but hey there are so many good options the odds are in our favour that Levy ends up picking someone half decent...

The fans have built this Poch thing up themselves. Anyone singing for Poch is only setting themselves up for disappointment. It's like in wrestling when the fans whip themselves up into a frenzy for a debut/return when NOTHING has indicated it will happen.

Poch isn't coming back (for now). He may be going to Chelsea. If he does then be adults about it.

Just hoping that we manage to get someone even as high up as halfway down the laundry list of candidates in terms of suitability. The main attribute they'll need is adaptability because with this club they'll have to work what they're given by the footballing brain trust.

No one is ever "getting backed" under this regime.

There's zero point in bringing in anyone Levy isn't convinced by because he just won't get the backing he requires.
TBF it says Levy expresses reservations over his lack of PL experience, realistically that's like 5 of the 7 candidates linked:
Enrique
Nagelsmann
Kompany
Slot
Ange

Leaving only
Poch
De Zerbi

Maybe the availability of Rodgers and Potter has given him the wobbles, two that got away previously..

There may be some candidates more likely than others to get a better tune out of our squad, but the fact is I hold out very little hope of winning trophies unless and until our recruitment and attitude to transfers improves.

I really thought Conte was Levy's last chance - we would either succeed or Levy would be finally exposed as the one hindering our on field progress - yet Daniel seems to have convinced a considerable portion of the fan base that it was Conte and his system that was predominantly to blame.

Pochettino is my first choice but if we’re not going for him anyway, which seems likely from all reporting I’d rather he went to Chelsea and we got Nagelsmann. Leave us better off with Nagelsmann as our manager rather than Enrique.

Oh to see the "we can't hire another Chelsea castoff" lot tie themselves in knots when Poch is fired by them and we have gone through our most recent managerial hire and need are looking again.
