The mood? The atmosphere? I don't think we are a team of nothing but cloggers so perhaps there might be an upturn?

The core of the available team is nothing but a bunch of cloggers. Pre Conte we were languishing just above mid table, now conte’s left we’ll finish just above mid table.

Winks can't be recalled to the first team so it would be funny if he got called back to be Masons number 2 instead

Actually getting no European footy might be good. Gives the manager time in the training pitch. However will give, erm, Daniel the excuse to not spend any money.

SC - "FFS Levy, sack this clown".
SC - "FFS Levy!"

He's done the best thing in getting Stellini out the door. It's too late but at least he hasn't dragged it out for the rest of the season.

Mason can hopefully clear the air with the squad and at least try to play some sensible football.

I don't think anyone is being hypocritical, like you insinuate. No ones criticising Levy for sacking Stellini. What people are criticising him for his (a) getting us into this ness in the first place and (b) that statement which simply drips with insincerity.

Looks at the fixtures list - we're fucked!

In the San Siro Marriott I wished Stellini the best of luck the night before the game in the bar and Mason the same in the gym the next day .............. maybe it is all my fault especially as I also shock Perisic hand and he has turned to sh*t as well ....

Any chance you know which hotel Arsenal stay in for their games?!?!

“Dear All,

Sunday’s performance against Newcastle was wholly unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the Board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine.

Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff. Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.

Ryan Mason will take over Head Coach duties with immediate effect. Ryan knows the Club and the players well. We shall update further on his coaching staff in due course.

I met with the Player Committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season. We are all clear we need to deliver performances which earn your amazing support.

COYS, Daniel

Who the hell does he think is?

Seriously. What a fucking joke we have calling all the big shots at this Club.

If course they all want Mason in...all paly and will Coast along until the end of the season.

Levy you fuckng spanner.

No matter what happens from here on out the club HAS to spend money in players the manager actually wants and also take financial hits on players he wants out. It's the only way this is sorted.

@Spurzinho I couldn't reply to the previous post but wanted to say I don't think people are being hypocritical. The point I was (crudely) trying to make is about the absolute doom and gloom around everything.

I'm not sure even Levy stepping down as CEO would lift the mood for more than 5 minutes. It's definitely not great but I still think we as a club have a really solid base and with an upbeat, positive, aggressive style of manager would be much, much better than we've seen for a long time.

Life is too short to be so pessimistic about things.

I need to know where Levy got his set of Coaching Staff Russian Dolls.

Or maybe he picked up a head coach from some shady little shop on his way home for Christmas and got it wet…?

Hilarious that the players are now in charge and I guess they’ve got who they wanted
And the most senior member of that committee invariably wants out and the other due to retire.

New depths of incompetence….. they just keep coming.
