He's been dogshit recently but just don't think we can afford to drop him given how poor our other defensive options are. It's not like dropping Son when we have Rich and Danjuma to come in. The drop off to Sanchez and Tanganga is pretty massive.
Just gotta hope Mason can get a better performance out of him.
Surely going to be 3 atb again tonight. Can't go 4 after the calamity at the weekend and the fact Mason will have had 1 training session.
I'd guess 3atb today and Sunday and then maybe he will change stuff around when he gets a week training with them (and Davies will be back to to play LB )

Three at the back isnt the main issue in my view and never has been. Its the dropping 20 yards deeper than we should be and defending in our box. We need to play 20-30 yards higher up and condense the play and press the play up there.
Exactly. City have played 3 at the back a fair bit recently and are fine
And that is where Mason comes in. Think he will encourage us to go up higher. I would be surprised it he and we dont.

It was but he's probably fed up of having to do all the defending himself every week
he's also the only defender we have who can actually defend so seems a bit suicidal to leave him out but I see where you're coming from.

Exactly, we played 3-4-2-1 under Poch and it was electric to watch, Conte's rigid defensive deep 5-4-1 is completely different.

Yeah completely agree. And that's what we were doing last season. We've got it in our locker so think Mase will try to reintroduce that rather than try something else

The ticket isn’t on the phone. When I go to download it from the email. It just bumps me to ticketline.
we do share the ticket around. But never had issues before after deleting from other phones.

Don't really like Kane as a n.o10 tbh, surely Kulu or Perisic or Danjuma could do that job.Would love to see this tbh!
I would certainly like to see Richarlison start and possibly Danjuma as Kulu has been out of sorts for a long time.

It'll probably just be 3-4-3 Conte style line-up but possibly a bit of a higher line with more energy and players slightly closer together to keep more of the ball.
