Still think we need a run of PL games to be sure about him.
But I like the way he is probing and prompting in this game
Hes played all right in the league before when he had a run, been unlucky with injuries and having a couple of managers that desired zero creativity. I mean what chance did he have when Conte didnt want Eriksen or Maddison last year

Quite incredible how quickly the players have bought into Ange’s system and demands.

Of course no where near the finished article but I must admit, we’ve made more progress from an attacking perspective in almost all facets than I could possibly have envisaged before the season has even kicked off proper.

You can see exactly why Celtic fans adored Ange - this guy just has it.

Honestly I'm torn between anger that we spent the last four years being told we couldn't play like this and just utter joy that we've shown we can within a matter of weeks. I know it’s pre season but it’s such a refreshing change of mindset, and it’s something to believe in going forward. It'll lose some games, but we were losing games last season.

No one is prepared for the age of Ange. What a fucking fella.

Son’s starting spot should be taken by Solomon or Perisic imo. They’ve been miles better than he has in this system. He’s a brilliant goalscorer and excellent in a counter attacking system but not in this one.

Almost like there has always been a good player in there that has been utilised badly.

Loch would have got him shining, shame it didn't work out that way.

Ange is a bit magic isn't he. Sanchez is actually passing the ball and doing a lot of the things we signed him to do as well.

Good on Skippy, we'll need a new one of our own if Bayern cough up.

Bissouma, skipp, sanchez, reggie, perisic, lo celso, ..... 6 right there playing really well... gk looking good, Porto and solomon doing OK, Richie is making a nuisance of himself ... dier not so sure yet ..... for a b team against Barcelona firsts things are going well ... ange may well be what we have been waiting for since poch fell off the cliff...... would love to see Philips get a crack at them... Barcelona would shit theirselves cos he looks like an absolute unit

Sanchez has been magnificent. Honestly believe he could be a very useful alternative for us, if he stays. Not a popular opinion with the «ffs Sanchez» crowd, but I’ll stand by my words.
Sanchez does this every now and then - pulls a classy performance out of nowhere. He had a couple of outstanding games in previous pre-seasons and can be great when the pressure is off or he's high on confidence, but he always turns back into a pumpkin sooner or later.

I've been stung way too many times thinking he's going to come good and won't fall for it again.

He does look much more suited to this system than Dier, though, admittedly.

I cannot understand if there are any Spurs fans not looking forward to this season. It’s going to be fun and what we want: no fear and full commitment going forward. As Ange said on Sunday: relentless.

OK. So what the hell is going on? This supposed string is looking good

This is what a manager who gives confidence and doesn’t over complicate things can do.

I'd say that is quite likely though I reckon Sarr is going to start instead of Lo Celso and probably Son as well let's be honest.
I think one of the biggest difference we see this year - more substitutions, and earlier substitutions. And, I think Ange will trust more players to start rotationally. (I think Ange has more players to trust)

If Perisic stays, and I hope he does, he should see lots of minutes. Same as Solomon. Even Richi will see decent minutes even if Kane stays.
