Boehly and Chelsea were very good at exploiting the 8 year contract/amortisation loophole. So wouldn’t shock me in the slightest if they are fully aware of what they are doing and what repercussions they will face and have a plan for it
Aren't they just kicking things down the road though and eventually problems will arise. Their wage bill must be off the charts.

No doubt they’ll find a way around any problems by throwing money at it

I think they are factoring in the FFP fine into their purchasing. They dont care about paying a £10 million fine and it is part of their business plan. Sounds crazy but the fines arent a deterrent to a club spending a billion quid on players, they just arent.

I think a points deduction would absolutely be a deterrent though, and it's a ballsy move to expect that one wouldn't be levied.

Is the wage bill that bad? I know they paid silly money in transfers but not sure a £100m paid over 400 years on a 21 year old ( pulling numbers out of arse here obviously) means they are in £150k a week?

I know it’s been said a lot but… 800m spent and this is their bench?

I’m not having all this talk that Sterling is now the second coming of Messi. Sorry I just can’t, the man has ghosted the last few seasons and tripped over the ball more than stood up.
Maybe I’m feeling bit petty (it’s possible) but he is a good player but I can’t go further than that right now. Consistency is what makes them great.

Pep, like every explosive winger, ruined him for me. Now the shackles have been released and the manager, allows him to play with freedom, he's back I think.

This is like a matured version of Liverpool's Sterling. An exciting, devastating attacker.
Not a man who has to over analyse every situation because the manager will drop you for losing the ball.

We shall see.

100% needs to be points deduction and bans as the main deterrent
