Parrot on the bench for Excelsior tonight. Half time and they are winning 1-0 against Fortuna Sittard. Devine got 15 minutes for Port Vale today as they beat Carlisle by the same score line.
Parrot got on in the 84th minute.

Interesting that Mikey Moore played as the CF for the 18’s away to Arsenal today and not on the wing. Got his goal and apparently hit the post twice. No surprise to see the defence look more solid with Archie Chaplin back in the starting line up.
Front three of Irow, Moore and Akhamrich very strong as this level and they can all inter change and swap positions.

Just remembered that Jack Wheelchair is Head Coach of Woolwich U18's, so having his boys taken apart in their own backyard makes it all the more sweeter!.
So impressed with our U21's as well - they play quality football at a very high tempo. Donley looks to have rare quality, and great vision, so once the squad is trimmed he is sure to be knocking on the door of the first team.

The U21s play Sunderland tomorrow in the Premier League Cup.

Kick off is at 19:00 and the game will be shown on Spursplay and should start at 18:50, though that is Spursplay time ;)

Seems like Marqes Muir has gone back to school,
Transfermarkt has him at University of Kentucky Wildcats.

While Roshaun Mathurin is listed with Palace U21.

You can just turn up and pay on the gate. Seating is not segregated. There is a large free (but grass) car park just opposite the ground.

Muir's profile is up on the Wildcats website.

Tom Bloxham on the bench for Blackburn today with Markanday. Neither got on.
For Tom going from failing to land a first professional contract at Spurs at the end of last season to going straight onto the bench for a Championship side at the start of this season is quite the career turnaround.

Anybody watching. Boot dreams..now or never on bbc3 Sundays 2130hrs.
players released by clubs and trying to get back to pro football. Most around 20yrs old . There is a lad called Charlie who was at Spurs up to 16yrs then went to Albania for 3 years.
one or two decent players but you can see why some of them got bombed out.

Charlie Smith is the only kid called Charlie that got released in the right sort of time period that I can find in my records. He dropped off the map so I guess it could be him. There were a couple of lads who's first names I never knew who were released around the same time, ???? Franklin and ??? Christian but other than that I've got nothing. Albert Rachi was Albanian and he was released around that time but he didn't go to Albania for three years.
