Those wank stains at sky waxing lyrical about how arsenal are in the title race again after stealing that win against a shit United team yesterday but Spurs, Liverpool and West Ham? Nothing mentioned.

I genuinely hate the narratives the media spin, it’s nauseating.

Much prefer to go under the radar for as long as possible (though I should add I don't believe we'll be in the title race, but CL qualification is not beyond us at all).

Just like them coming second last season after leading the league for so long wasn't a bottle job but a brave result for a young team.

I agree, it’s just the constant sucking off of Legohead and his bottle Job team that couldn’t get the job done last season that infuriates me. It would be way better to paint an open title race narrative than to pretend that only Arsenal and Man City have a chance. It’s laughable really.

A lot of these so called pundits etc don't do any research and it shows.

We have one bad season and suddenly Aston Villa are better than us.

If you ask them why they think that they can't explain it, they'll just offer some generic nonsense.

I wish MNF wasn't only on when there's a game.

Football in this country desperately needs proper analysis on TV but Sky Sports (for example) don't care.

The same Sky Sports will offer fantastic analysis when they broadcast Cricket, NFL, F1 (Sky Pad etc) though.

Garth crooks never ceases to amaze me

‘The departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich and the removal of his spectre seems to have set the Spurs players free. It has also given manager Ange Postecoglou the opportunity to pass the captain's armband to Son and it seems to be doing him the world of good.’

yeah that’s definitely it. Nothing to do with Conte and Ange. What an absolute clown
Genuinely bemused by getting WTF ratings for this. All I’m saying is spurs aren’t better because they ‘removed the spectre of Harry Kane’ . Even if you disagree (which I find amazing) there is nothing wtf worthy about it

There’s a massive gap now between the quality of analysis and general football chat available on lots of podcasts and what is served up by the broadcasters.

amazing to think how much money sky spend on their programmes and the best they can come up with is Jamie carragher wittering away in what sounds like one of the languages used by minor characters in Star Wars to a touch screen for 10 minutes

Carragher and Neville have shown many times that they can provide genuine insight and informative breakdowns but its seems like its exclusive to MNF.

They play different characters on other days of the week.

Carragher i actually think is fair all the time. Neville is driven by his own agenda desperate for united to be taken seriously again he has a huge chip on his shoulder they couldn't ever manage to even be in the conversation for buying Kane from us as he still remembers us being their plucky mid dtable feeder team.

Both equally bad covering their former teams. Won't change because Sky is now click bait.

Carragher is embarrassing on any Liverpool game no matter which role he is doing, proved that last week.

See how they cope with champions league. Their squad clearly isn’t good enough. There isn’t the intensity with them already plus with partey out now.
They play us after a champions league game so let’s see how they cope with that.
They can’t run Saka and odegaard into the ground they’ll need to rotate those 2.

Neville's post super Sunday podcast thing on YouTube is always a decent watch. I just wish it was longer and included every Prem team/game covered that had played up to that point rather than a select few.

Oh and Peter Drury adds a new refreshing change himself.

They’ll definitely struggle this season with the lack of depth and added games from CL, nothing compared to last season. I can’t wait to see the AFTV meltdowns.

In reality, no team can be compared to city at the moment. Their depth is unmatched and they keep signing some of the best talent available around the world so they’re not slowing down anytime soon. The media shouldn’t paint arsenal in the same light, they are nowhere near as good as that city team.

not media as such, well i guess youtube kind of is but i really like this breakdown. I've seen so much positivity from many pundits and fans from other teams around how we play and what Ange is doing. This feels like the bloody Twilight Zone.

I'm knackered watching that. Does the guy ever stop to draw a breath?

Sounds like we are good though, so I'll take that.

Pretty sure that armband went from Hugo to Son and not Harry to Son
