Brennan Johnson's injury probably makes it easier for him to get a spot on the bench, fast track
I would be surprised if he is even close to the bench. He will be severely lacking in any kind of fitness.

Sadly an Ivan Perisic sized hole has now opened up on the bench when he gets back. Very different playing styles of course, but we now need him to start contributing to the squad.
Hopefully he's been able to work on his body strength during his recent rehab period.
Let's face it. Skipp and Son would look like Tanks in Gil's eyes.
He has enough ability to play. Question marks are his stamina/strengh and injury record.
Is it me or has he stepped up his facial hair game? Looking sexy

He has less growth than my 13 year old nephew
He absolutely does. The little shit is a goon so I have to teach him manners somehow.“nephew”. Does he call you Uncle Loco too?
This is the only reason I'd be willing for him to get a chance. Paratici knows his young players. He looked good for mini spells under conte, so no reason why he can’t look very good for a manager who will actually let him pass and move and attack.
He’s another Paratici signing so it’s pretty much nailed on that he’ll find form and become a gem of a signing at some point.
He’s gonna be behind Kulusevski, Johnson, Solomon and potentially Richarlison/Son depending on the managers selection of position for the two of them. This run in the team that people want is not going to happen and frankly I don’t believe he’s done enough to deserve minutes ahead of any of those guys mentioned above. He’ll have to bide his time and prove himself in training, which is generally how it is for most young players. Chances aren’t just given out like a charity, they are always earned in training.
