I'm not sure Udogie 'tripped himself'. He was running normal and his foot catches the knee of Jota running behind him. If you run too close behind a player then it's your fault if the players foot catches you. However it's never a yellow card but then I think the foul Jota made before that was. Also the Udogie one wasn't a yellow or even a foul first half. End of the day players get cheap yellows all the time. When you're on a yellow you don't dive in for a tackle like that. Udogie was carrying a yellow a long time against them as he was against Arsenal and stayed on the pitch. Jota got a yellow then minutes later made a stupid challenge and got a warranted yellow for it.
Jota did not complain at all about that first yellow. Not only did he clip Udogie he knew exactly what he was doing when he did it

Their fans are frothing at the mouth for a rematch. Childish. Never going to happen.

If the PL granted a replay, which they won’t, imagine the can of worms that would open? Every poor decision would see club statements demanding a replay.

Again, the fact they think they deserve a replay just take that whole club to a new level of delusional.

Option 1 being get on with your sad lives and quit being such fucking cry babies.
For once I am delighted we have Danny boy. He is going to have them toast if they try anything like replaying the game. You can't just pick this one singular game to replay. Otherwise every club will then try and replay a game to get the result they want.

You can't retroactively award the goal, because then you would have to award and take every goal that shouldn't have been given and wrongly disallowed. Nothing will happen here. Did Wolves get anything after PGMOL came out about their penalty v United? Nope.

And their fight is with PGMOL. Mistakes and human errors happen. Get the f on with it.

Liverpool can f off.

Anyone know why he wasn't on Sky comms? (Obviously commentating for another broadcaster but I thought Sky would have had some sort of exclusivity on the 5.30 k.o.)

Of course not. There's been several worse decisions than the offside this weekend alone.

By adding the red card incidents to the 'list' it's like everyone is saying this is one the biggest miscarriages of justice football has seen lol.

Of course they won't try. I have no idea who's suggesting it but it smells suspiciously like a few utter bells on Twitter having a tantrum. The sad thing about it is that sensible fans will get lumped in with them.

Did you read the last paragraph in the official Liverpool statement? It comes from the club.

"In the meantime, we will explore the range of options available, given the clear need for escalation and resolution."

What else would they be thinking of? Suing PGMOL? Retroactively awarding the goal?

No, because it will open up a can of worms that every club will try to fight for one if they didn't get the result they wanted.

Totally agree. But because this is, apparently, the most significant human error made by VAR....would that be the angle they'd be coming from?

Just playing devil's advocate lol

We'd never agree to it of course, and the red cards were correct so how on earth would that wash.
