This is going to be a tough tough game. If Chelsea turn up then it will be a battle in the middle which will decide the winner. I hate how big headed a lot of spurs pundits are getting. This is no way going to be a walk in the park and I’ll be happy with a 1-0 or 2-1.

Chelsea prefer playing teams that come onto them, so this game will suit them.

... and so do we. The difference is that we are much more capable in front of goal.

I think it'll be

Vicario
Porro - Romero - VDV - Royal
Bissouma
Sarr - Maddison
Deki - Son - Johnson

Subs: Forster, Dier, Phillips, PEH, Bentancur, GLC, Richarlison, Gil, Skipp
That is a stronger bench than I though we had.

Strangely not confident about this one at all.
Agree. We’ve seen others slip up against the teams in a relegation battle this weekend so hope we don’t follow

min all seriousness think this will be a tough game and some seriou La signs of improvement amongst some of their players in recent weeks despite still mixed results. A big test for the likes of Porro and whoever is LB. Destiny back will be key.

Expect the atmosphere will be a mixture of carnival and very hostile.

Play to our best with Son and Maddison in particular giving an 8/10 performance and we should win. But this is football and this is THFC, so who the hell knows how this is going to go???

COYS !!!

Don't drag your past into the present.
That's what stops players, sides, fans and clubs progressing.

It's a clean slate this season. A complete overhaul.
New personnel, new ideas, new players, a new way of playing, a new energy and a new manager.
Why would anyone (although it's a very human thing to do) drag your past apprehensions and concerns into the this present setup?

It's all new. Treat it as such.

As fans, don't let past doubts creep in to the atmosphere around the ground. Otherwise, it seeps into everyone else.
Have faith, be wildly optimistic, be wildly positive. Trust in the process.
And rather than 'hope' we might get a win - 'know' that we will get a win.
And watch that faith and energy transfer into the players on the pitch.

If the fans start getting twitchy - then it transfers to the players.
If we're going to start being a Premier League title contender - the fans have to step up their own game too and start thinking like Premier League title contender fans.
We will win. 100%. We trust these players and their manager.

A hostile carnival? …sort of like a summer fete on Canvey island??
