Our midfield hasn't worked better with 3x CM all season, yet you want to replace one of them with a CF. How is that going to help the midfield to work better?

I would argue that Hojbjerg has been our best performing CM so far today. Bissouma is having the least impact on the game of the three. Sarr has conceded possession the most and repeatedly failed to come up with anything during repeated opportunities while in possession in the final third. None of the three can offer the creativity that we're missing from Maddison.

If anything, I would like to see Bentancur come on for either Sarr or Bissouma.

Obviously we’re missing players but this has overall been a pretty shocking performance. Passing has been incredibly wasteful and we’ve given away multiple chances through playing too passively.

We need our defenders to just stay on their feet in those situations. I rate Emerson, but that was naive / reckless.
