I think it’s evident from this half, against what we’ve seen when he’s got Maddison and Kane feeding him, that to get the absolute best out of Son you should have a penetrative #10 in the team. Not to say he’s been ineffective though, he’s putting in work for the team for sure. Will probably get a decent chance at some point in the match too.

We seem to have a recurring theme of our opponents fouling the shit out of us for about 35 minutes with impunity, and then the ref decides he's had enough and books us first.

I would have taken 1-0 at HT without a doubt so have done well so far. Been a bit disappointed with a few players and we look a bit vulnerable but have done OK so far all things considered.

In all serious how many games have we seen this year where opposition is allowed to get away with has many challenges as they want then our first gets a yellow. Honestly that happens so often.
