Playing Davies and Dier is like UTD playing Evans and Maguire, they look ok for a bit but they will always cost you in the end. You also lose any ball playing ability that you get from VDV and Romero. Its such a huge downgrade, you just have to witness another 90 minutes to remember.

For 90 minutes we lead, the mood here is that Dier and Davies are good.

6 minutes later, the mood changes to Dier and Davies are useless.

Spurs fans.
They are.

This sums them up too.

Good for 90% and lead you into a false sense of hope

Then the 10% comes.

Disagree. There not a lot he can do with the players out. When are these dogshit players going to get the blame?? Dier, Davies and PEH are shit and all deserve to be playing in the Championship. Watch how far off Dier stands on numerous occasions during the match. PEH passing the ball was a joke an absolute joke.

He needs to trust the youth instead of the same old shit which lets us down.

I honestly thought Dier, Davies and Hojgberg were decent today. Certainly did a lot better than I expected. What lost us the game was the lack of creativity. Barely created a chance all match

Hojbjerg was shite and all three of them were to blame for both goals.

Absolutely miss me with the “same old let downs” when no one played well.
You are right on the whole the entire team were poor, fact is though the rest of the team are now geared to moving the ball quickly and pressing as a unit. The players that have come in today can't do it. They've never been able to and we've seen it game after game. I'm not blaming those players, it's not their fault. Their limitations are well known to us all. The system and style of play s brilliant when you have players that can pull it off. When you don't it just doesn't work at all.

Lo Celso was decent for the short time he was on.

All of Ange's style went out the window pretty quickly, and you have to say that's the fault of the old guard - Dier, Davies, PEH, who just cannot play that way.

you can see Davies can't do the high line, he was dropping back a lot.

Fears will slide now just folded at the end that was so poor. Gary O'Neill seems to have that over us, done with it Bournemouth inspired subs tbh. Tough matches with Villa and City looming those injuries and suspensions killing us.

It's going to be a long month or two. They thought we'd done enough and didn't play to the final whistle out there. Last season's attitude.

So I guess those two goals mean Dier and Davies are crap when they were comfortably our best players for 90 minutes? Wolves had the ball but barely created anything until that ridiculous Sarabia goal. And Hojbjerg tried to play a stupid pass and it lead to the second.

We scored early then created sod all and couldn't hold on to it. Up until the Sarabia goal I thought we dealt with things well all things considered.

100% PRAYING Ange now sees this after today. It's CRYSTAL clear.

I'm not too disheartened because I know this isn't the 'real Spurs' so to speak and it's a completely different outcome with VDV, Romero, Udogie and Maddison IMO, even if they'd have Neto.

Can't say I'm surprised with a CB pairing of Dier and Davies, with Emerson at LB.

We really can't hold back on the recruitment side of things though as we've known for a while now, certain players really need to go with more capable players to the system coming in.

Very frustrating that we'll have to watch a patched up Spurs for a while now though.
