No they didn't. They missed a couple of golden chances in the first half. Don't get me wrong we were so wasteful in front of goal, far more wasteful them then.
They had far better chances than us. The only ones I can recall are the Richarlison header and the Lo Celso volley first half?

3 points off top four, playing exciting, attacking football full of movement, energy and positivity. Half the team out with injuries. Yes - we’re overplaying it at times, yes -we’re not clinical enough, yes - we’re conceding some silly goals. But anybody remember last year? We all would’ve bitten our own hands off if we‘d been offered that at the start of the season.

We’re not able to maintain the pace we play at for 90mins so if we’re not 3-0 up by half time then there’s a chance we’ll throw it away. But the majority of games we’ve played recently, we should‘ve been 3-0 by half time.

It’ll come. When we‘re back up to full strength and we get a couple of transfer windows in, then we’ll be looking very good.

So stop shitting the bed and try and enjoy what has (for the first time in 4-5 years) been a fucking great ride 👌

People keep saying "unacceptable" as if Ange is going to be going "great job lads" in the dressing room. Losing is unacceptable but people need to understand that there will definitely be more bumps in the road this season.

If I can achieve one thing in 2024 I hope it's to care less about Tottenham. It's so unimportant, I know it's not important but I dunno it's like it's so ingrained in me.....
A fruitless January transfer window will no doubt help...

Carry on like this we will end up in an entertaining relegation battle. 1 point in 15 games, injuries and suspensions or not, is simply unacceptable.
Oh behave. This current run is shit but it looked tough on paper even before we suffered injuries and suspensions. Even so we’ve played well enough in the last 2 home games that the result could have gone another way, and got a terrific point at City in between.

From Feb onwards I think we’ll be a force like we were before the Chelsea debacle. Until then we’re going to have mid-table form of winning a few games but losing a few as well. It’s a very competitive league - that we’ve taken 1 point from 5 games and are still 5th shows that barely anyone is able to win games consistently right now aside from - annoyingly - them lot up the road and Liverpool. Even Villa needed to kick our best player off the pitch and still pull of something of a smash and grab to beat us and they’re 3rd!

Relegation battle?! Give your head a wobble. I think we’ll win on Sunday.

Do you think so? I didn't think he played that well tonight and he certainly isn't a creative player. He generally tends to play square passes.
He didn't have the best game, but to bring on Skipp who is probably our worst offensive player really damaged us. If it isn't fitness or injury related I think you have to persevere with Lo Celso.

Nothing I hate more than watching a game like that where you don't create anything despite dominating. Massively frustrating and always feels like we're going to get sucker punched.
I hated watching us under Nuno and Conte and Jose far more when we didn’t create anything or dominate the ball and then just lost easily anyway.

Johnson had a couple of better-than-half chances first half that he scuffed, but yeh not many head=in-your-hands moments in their box.

Son - aging but still elite.

Johnson - hopefully just raw but…concerning, especially at the price we paid.

Kulu - looked great in midfield but should probably only be a squad option if Ange thinks his best position is out wide.

Bryan - not good enough, sell.

Richarlison - horrific signing. Sell.

Veliz - raw.

Our attacking options are diabolical. Can’t even say we haven’t invested, either. That kid from Juve or even Jota on loan won’t cut it. We need a proven goalscorer. Probably two.

Good post - however tonight is the first time I’ve questioned Ange.
