Is the smart approach. Start fresh in the summer with the overhaul.FFP plus I guess Radcliffe wants to assess everything before jumping into the market.

Gashford!Trashford
I switched over to the Chelsea match for obvious reasons yesterday, I didn't realise Lisandro Martinez picked up a pretty nasty-looking knee injury.
That kind of thing would take years of planning etc. The government don’t have a spare billion to build a stadium either. And with any luck the Tories will get wiped out at the election anyway.Ratcliffe's press people leaking stories suggesting the government should help him fund the "Wembley of the North" for United as part of the Levelling Up agenda.
He's a Tory fave, so wouldn't be massively shocked.
That'll go down well with the likes of Everton, Liverpool and Levy etc...

Real shame for Martinez as only just came back from a long injury.
He also seems very important to how Ten Haag wants them to play.
Watching United against West Ham they could make a real charge for the top 4.
With Martinez, Shaw, Casemeiro and even a resurgent Maguire they look a lot better.
It's weird with United, when they have everyone fit they are a good team, they have struggled perhaps worse than us with injuries this season.
An injury to Martinez is a massive blow, he's become one of their most important players if not the most.
Interesting to see how they do with this current setback. They have a good first 11, but their squad is weak. They could even be a real force next season if they sign the right players.
Although that's a massive if. I still wouldn't be surprised by a massive resurgence from United, Ten Haag and all.
Think they have a cheek personally trying to get hand outs to fund their stadium.Ratcliffe's press people leaking stories suggesting the government should help him fund the "Wembley of the North" for United as part of the Levelling Up agenda.

I was just refreshing myself with Citeh’s stadium deal and Manchester council still own the 240 year lease on Citeh’s ground, Etihad dropped £150m on them for naming rights (can’t find any reference as to how long that is for) and they last paid the council £5m pa in rent.Ratcliffe's press people leaking stories suggesting the government should help him fund the "Wembley of the North" for United as part of the Levelling Up agenda.

United finally getting a very good system in place.
