im kinda hoping he doesn't start tonight. id like another week of training but then again I have no idea how much he has done behind the scenes.

I think this is one where we just have to trust the physios and player. Even if everyone thinks he's fine to play, he could have a setback. It's not an exact science.

I’m sure he’s fine as long as he’s trained at full pelt. If he wasn’t ready he wouldn’t be risked at all.
Hamstring’s are not something you can ‘give a go’.
If he’s on the bench it’s because they want to ease him back with half hour but I can see him starting and being replaced after 70 mins or so.

Micky comments on his return on our official site.

"I’m really happy to be back," said our number 37.

"It's always a good feeling to be back with the squad and be on the bench. Next week a big game is coming so hopefully I'll get some minutes over there.

"I'm feeling fit, I have no pain anymore, so I think I'm ready. It's long, it was like 10 weeks I've been out, it's frustrating when you have to watch from the sidelines.

"It's a really good time for the players to come back, it's an important second half of the season ahead so hopefully everybody will stay fit, and we'll see what will happen."

he’ll have to, we don’t have any other fit CBs atm :cautious:
That's what I'm worried about tbh. Just because he was on the bench in a cup match doesn't mean he'll be ready to start in the league and in the interview he said he "hopes he gets some minutes". That doesn't sound like something someone who thinks he's starting would say and he simply must not push himself to come back if he's not absolutely ready and up to speed, so to speak. If he doesn't start and Davies and Romero are out and Phillips and Dorrington have both gone out on loan and we don't sign Dragusin in time (or at all) and Dier's still around... Emerson and Dier? Is that even a thing?
