I hope not- that lot down the road might get someone in who can make them betterWonder if they will go for Arteta, given his Barca connection?

Not if the company is Neil Warnock tho!Is Neil Warnock a bit mental? Only four months on from leaving Huddersfield and he’s now gone to Aberdeen?
For crying out loud man go and put your feet up, I’m sure the Mrs would like the company!
I know they wanted him to leave with dignity, but this should have been done a few months ago.Looks like Hodgson is off, with Glasner likely taking over
Palace set to sack Hodgson, Glasner leading candidate to take over
Crystal Palace are set to sack manager Roy Hodgson, with former Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner the leading candidate to replace him. Hodgson, 76, will leave Palace 15th in the Premier League table, just five points above the relegation zone after three wins in the last 19 games...theathletic.com
He shouldn't have been given an extension after keeping them up. Unbelievably poor planning by the Palace board, they knew he was never a long term option.I know they wanted him to leave with dignity, but this should have been done a few months ago.
He's a big boy who has been in the game a long time, been paid handsomely for doing so, and he's doing a very poor job. If age shouldn't be a factor when hiring him, then it shouldn't be a consideration when firing him.Terrible look for Palace this. Briefing the press they’re going to sack him and letting it fester for a few days. Now he’s been taken ill.
I wouldn’t want my old man treated that way by his employer.
I never really understood why they got rid of Viera. He had them playing good football and if I remember correctly he was sacked at the end of a really tough run of games and before they hit an easier stretch which Hodgson benefited from.Looks like Hodgson is off, with Glasner likely taking over. If it happens, we're going to be his 1st or 2nd game

Agree that age shouldn't be a factor, but some common decency wouldn't go amiss. He's a big boy who has been in the game a long time, been paid handsomely for doing so, and he's doing a very poor job. If age shouldn't be a factor when hiring him, then it shouldn't be a consideration when firing him.
Do we know that? I mean right now everyone is assuming that it's been leaked through purposely by Palace, but I'm not sure why they would. Any club in their position with half a clue would be looking for the right replacement before pulling the trigger. As with most of these things I expect the leak has come from someone inside the club who shouldn't have leaked it, but thinks this is the way to speed up the decision making and that they are doing the club a favour.Agree that age shouldn't be a factor, but some common decency wouldn't go amiss.
It's being handled terribly by Palace.
That very much sounds like them handling it poorly.Do we know that? I mean right now everyone is assuming that it's been leaked through purposely by Palace, but I'm not sure why they would.
