Gold is now saying we will be looking for a 6 come summer so hopefully he doesn’t see Gallagher as one for that role.

I’ve got some pretty big concerns about his fit as a 6 for us.
Don’t think he is anywhere near consistent enough with his performances and passing. Also don’t think he’s press resistant enough to play as a single pivot 6 with the way we play. Is he disciplined enough positionally too?
They will want big money and I’m not sure he’s worth that.
His physicality and size would be a plus for us though.

IMO he's really improved his passing range over the last year or so.
I think we need more of a physical presence in midfield like when we had Dembele/Wanyama - it will help us control games a lot better.
Onana is still only 22, so there's still a lot more room for him to grow.
Palhinha would be another great option, but can't see us spending £60m+ on a 28-year-old.

Definitely agree with this. Like City have Rodri and Scum have Rice, we need a defensive powerhouse with great strength, power and who can cover a lot of ground. Ideally they need to be good on the ball too though with good intelligence.
Not sure Onana fits the bill personally possession wise and discipline wise although I definitely appreciate he fits the physical profile.

True he missed chances to score, but all strikers do, but I like what I see. As I said, attitude aside, he's a good player.

Is that all you noticed. He was central to most of Brentford’s attacks and he got himself into those positions to miss. Also set up the equaliser thought he had a great game.

Phillips seems to be doing pretty well in the Championship. I wonder if he’s ready to be 4th choice.

Not sure how attainable he’d be but I really like the look of Adingra at Brighton.

Brighton seem pretty open to selling their players. I believe this is his first season playing for then after a loan spell last season.
They might want another year of football out of him before selling.

I’d give him a couple of seasons more. Try and get him high championship club loan and then a lower prem loan.

Is he really strong defensively? Good at covering ground quickly and reading the game defensively?
