Let’s move on from those with poor injury records. Easy to love Olise, Neto but availability is just as important as character and of course ability.

I think we need 3 more transfer windows to get the squad at the levels required.

15 OUT and 7 IN plus Werner. The following need to go;

Forster
Whiteman
Emerson
spence
Rodon
Tanganga
Davies
Reguilon
Skipp
Hojberg
Ndombele
GLC (1 yr contract)
Gill
Solomon
Richarlsion (need a better striker)

So we need to scout a new;
Back up GK: Sam Johnstone (HG)
Back up RB: Kyle Walker-Peters (HG)
Back up LCB/LB: Lloyd Kelly (HG)
Starting/rotating CDM: Archie Grey (HG)
Starting RWF: Michael Olise (HG)
Starting CF: Ivan Toney (HG)
Starting LWF: Eberiche Eze (HG)

All Home Grown...

This will take 3 to 4 windows

Loan 24/25;
Vuskavic
Dorrington
Phillips
Donley
Devine
Scarlett
Veliz
Parrot

Vicario
Johnstone

Porro Romero VDV Udogie
KWP Dragusin Kelly (Kelly)

Grey
Bissouma/Bentancur
Sarr Maddison
Bergvall Kulusevski

Olise Toney Eze
Johnson Son Werner
You can add Sess to your out list. We need injury adverse players to fight in four competitions so I have some doubts about some of your choices. Also not sure what your plan is for the youth coming through. You can loan out players for one year and then they will be looking to be in the 25 man squad. Problem is you have filled the squad with players on 5+ years contracts. With the variance in European rules and prem rules on home grown players it is not just about picking your favourite choices.

It’s not easy but we must be seen to be integrating players from our youth set up or we will not be attractive to recruitment of youth in the future.

Fair point. I've got a 22 man squad so only 2 won't make the match day squad. Think we have never ever had a fully fit squad so there is room for 3 of the best youth prospects to make the bench/come on in games. The 3 centre backs are very young so they could all do with another smart loan move before any decisions are made

Think it's risky as it stands to rely on donley/devine as one of the 6 CMs but others may feel different. I assume Vergvall has jumped ahead of both

I also don't think Parrot and scarlet are good enough at this level and veliz definitely needs a regular loan. Would be great if he loaned to someone like ajax/psv to see what he can do

19 starts and 15 goals (45 shots)
PL experience
24 years old
Quick
6ft 4
Club potentially need the cash
0.85 goals per 90 minutes, as opposed to 0.80 for Haaland and 0.75 for Salah

I want Alexander Isak

We are not spending £100m on Isak. Need to be realistic.

I am, he's brillant. Id take him over Watkins hands down, but they wont sell to us.

He'd be perfect though.

I wanted us to target him badly (I banged on about him on here for a while) heading into Conte's second year. He played some LW at Real Sociedad so thought he could be the Kane "understudy" while also filling in at LW/RW like Richarlison did.

We actually spent similar money on Richy (prob a little cheaper) too compared to what Newcastle paid for him I believe.

TBF we probably got what we paid for and as did they. Richy is probably a little better than most on here make him out to be and Isak does take their pens so his return is slightly inflated. You really need 100m or so these days to get a good striker, crazy!

Rich was £13m less in guaranteed money.

Wonder if we will target Giminez from Feyernoord, weren’t we linked with him last summer?

21 goals so far this season, yes I know we’ve been there before with Jansen 😅 but Giminez is more mobile and a better all round player, if we can’t get an Isak or Vhalovic then Giminez could be worth a punt.

As for Watkins vs Solanke, well Watkins hands down wins that battle but no way he leaves Villa. Solanke as a back-up instead of Richy would be pretty like for like tbh and Solanke would cost a lot so I don’t think he’d be a good move really.

In regards to strikers I think I’ve changed my opinion on Vlahovic. My biggest concern over him as I’ve mentioned numerous times in the transfer thread has been around his persistent injury issues. It was never a question of ability for me just constant injury problems which made him a complete write off. This season he seems to have shaken them off on the whole. He still picked up a few but only missed 3 games in total.

In regards to profile I think he is absolutely perfect for us. Big, fast, technical, good hold up play, great ball striking ability and an aerial threat in the box plus he’s still only 24. 16 goals in 28 games this season, some of them world class finishes and most importantly his contract only has 2 years to run and Juve, as with Chiesa, are struggling to renew.

If he can remain fit for the rest of the season I would be seriously considering him come summer as an option if we were to move on Richy. Tbh Juve really need cash, I would certainly be keeping an eye on a number of their players this summer in case we can snatch a few talents off them. Vlahovic, Chiesa, Yildiz, Soulé, Nonge, Miretti, Iling-Junior etc etc. They actually have some very exciting players in their squad.

As for wingers which we desperately need I like:
•Raphinia
•Raphael Leao
•Kvaratskhelia
•Chiesa
•N.Williams
•Lozano or Insigne
•Bakayoko
•Neto
•Berardi
•Olise
•Mitoma
•Fuhrich
•Ocampos
•Gordon
•F.Torres
•Jota (former Celtic one)
•Sancho
•Kudus

Beyond that we can also look at the likes of Jonathan Rowe, Gnoto, Sulemana from the Championship but I’d like to see us sign a top top class ST & Winger and then one of the above 3 more for longer term development.

I wonder if Evan Ferguson is still highly regarded at this club and perhaps more pertinently how Brighton now value him after what's been a season where he's been in and (mainly) out with Joao Pedro and Welbeck often the preference.

Of course, still only 19 and being under contract till 2029 his valuation would still be significant but if De Zerbi isn't so keen and remains manager at Brighton after the summer coupled with their MO of player turnover then perhaps a conversation could be had at a much more palatable amount than last summer.

Certainly fits the prototype striker we covet albeit still a work in progress so would ideally have in rotation with a Richarlison as opposed to an instead of.

Also very much like Omorodion so would be interested to hear others opinions on him although I suspect he will come back to Atletico and be part of Simeone's plans next season.

I feel he lacks that pace/acceleration but if the remit is a battering ram/target man with solid link up play and finisher then he ticks those boxes

I feel like every single day I see quotes from him talking about how much he wants to stay at Juve.
This is from today:
Dusan #Vlahovic confirms to SerieA Channel: “I would like to stay at #Juventus for many years”. Talks in progress to try to reach an agreement to extend the contract until 2028. #transfers

There’s been quotes like that fairly regularly all season. Supposedly he was close to signing last year and in Jan etc. same for Chiesa. Maybe it happens of course but I don’t necessarily think it’s a forgone conclusion given Juve’s financials. I just think it’s a situation to monitor as Juve really need money if they want to improve their squad

Can narrow down your list a fair bit anyway.

Insigne is 32 years old and playing in the MLS

Lozano is 28 and playing in the Eredevisie

Ocampos will be 30 next season.

Neto too injury prone.

Olise too injury prone.

Berardi terrible 1v1 dribbler

F. Torres terrible 1v1 dribbler

Jota I like, but obviously Ange doesn’t think he’s up to the standard

Rafael Leao will only be sold for his €170m release clause

Kvara sadly probably just outside our price range

Anthony Gordon likely way too expensive as well

Sancho crazy wages and proven he can’t cut it in the prem imo.

So from your list that would leave Nico Williams, Chiesa, Bakayoko, Raphinha, Mitoma, Fuhrich and Kudus (Only if his champions league release clause is true)

I wanted Kvara 3 years ago and though it’ll cost 8 times as much now, I’d still like him. It might be far fetched, but how many clubs outside of the premier league could afford it? If it were me that’s where I’d be putting most of the budget.
There just aren’t that many convincing 9’s around and I don’t worry particularly about the holding midfielder, between Bentancur and Bissouma we should have plenty there. Kulu to move inside as a first line, with the ability to play wide in certain situations.

Caveat at CF being I have always liked Vlahovic, but I feel the dearth of good 9’s available means if he is for sale, clubs further up the chain than us will be in for him.
