I believe he's going to City already agreed.

My guess is one of Alex Baena, spanish winger from Villareal with similar assist stats to Nico Williams so maybe the data suggests he can play similar for a cheaper fee? Although he's more of a CAM that also plays in the LW position, so not as much tricks.

Ander Barrenetxea would be my other guess. 22 year old for Real Sociedad who is in the 93rd percentile compared to other wingers in successful take ons. Really stumped on both of these

Almería’s Largie Ramazani (ex man utd youngster) is the only other one I can think of that hasn’t been guessed. Young, but not super young. Decent numbers considering he’s playing for one of the worst sides in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Has exceptional xA numbers. Again considering the context that he’s playing in an awful side, he’s been pretty good in La liga this season. Not sure he’s the 1v1 demon we should be looking for, but he can certainly cause havoc out wide.

Ander Barrenetxea?
Think we have been linked previously and Arsenal are also keen.
He's got great technique and can also defend.
22, so not especially young but is probably the best Real Sociedad youngster since Greizmann.

Nowhere near as good as Williams though. We’d be insane to have him as first choice above Williams.

Just rereading his responses it’s possible we could be talking about two different players maybe? Only spitballing but maybe WLB’s Spanish player we like is another name on the list not necessarily our absolute no 1, after all he does say “a special player who might be achievable we hope” then in another response later he talks about nobody guessing the answer to that previous ITK. Or maybe it is the same and I’m just overthinking. But yeah if that is the case id be surprised if it’s Barrenetxea.
