I'm a big critic of Levy and want him to step aside but I don't see what wrong he has done here. Seems sensible to borrow at low interest rates.
And yet again you have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.
The BOE loan has to be repaid within a year, there is no capital repayment on the stadium loan for 15 years.
So in your scenario we pay £175m off of a stadium loan (which we can't do anyway), where do we get the £175m from to repay BOE ? (answer borrow it at a much higher interest rate, negating the savings you were suggesting we would make anyway)
By the way have you worked out who the staff member was that caught Covid yet ?
It wasn't a staff member by the way, but you were insistent it was, and haven't retracted that yet
What are you talking about 15 years ? We have to make an annual payment. And of course he wouldn’t use the full £175m ?? He may not use any of it but it is an option. So What exactly have I fallen for ? Also the Bank of America loan outside the main package is repayable in 5 years and the main bond scheme 23 years. So I’ve no idea where you’ve got this 15 years from.
We have to make a repayment of the interest only.
Your calculation of £ 3.5m saving was based on repaying £175m capital (and now you are back-tracking on that)
You are falling down at every step.
Give up. You fall for everything you see on twitter, and write some of the most ridiculous posts going based on what you see on there (this saving of £ 3.5m being one of them by the way)
Who was the Staff COVID sufferer that you insisted it was, you don't seem to want to answer that ?
You’re talking absolute rubbish we have to pay interest only ? show me one bit of evidence to support that. You seriously saying we wouldn’t reduce our debt for 15 years ?
The £3.5m figure came from the Arsenal trust official account detailed report who I’d trust a lot more than you.
Which is based on using the whole £175m loan to repay capital (even though we cant) and even though you said we wouldn't, and without any thought into how we would then repay the BOE loan, and the interest rate we would have to borrow money on to do that.
You just post rubbish like this all the time.
Now for the THIRD time.
Admit you were wrong about it being a staff member that had COVID ?
And if you want to also, admit you were gullible in your initial posting about being able to save £3.5m interest in a year
1. The original post said “SHOULD”
2.I’m still waiting for your evidence we will only be paying interest for 15 years ?
3. Show me some concrete evidence it was a player ?
And SHOULD is still totally wrong, as it a) does not take into account we can't, but more importantly b) does not take into account interest rate of having to borrow money to repay BOE loan
In respect of player with COVID, well concrete evidence out in the public are things such as the club briefing the media that it was a player, and Harry Kane saying it was a player, but secondly I actually know the name of the player who it was (and have done since day after test results)
But I suppose until said player comes out and makes a song and dance and saying coys200 it was me, and not an imaginary staff member that you heard through Twitter, that won't suffice.
How have our Chinese owners performed for you these last years ?(just another of your hysterical stories).
Also West Ham did do a rights issue, rather than loan from directors, despite you insisting it was the latter
Please put me on your ignore list you’re a massive prick ?
They need couples therapyRight, that's it.
Consider your heads banged together. Now go and sit on the naughty step until the milk monitor calls you
I wish they'd pull their fingers out and get Primary Schools open. At least then we knew it's only be between teatime and bedtime that we had to watch out for this shit
I only came back into this thread for the next episode of the C&M show - they're the new Morecombe and Wise; very entertaining! That was quite funny I have to admit.
Fight! Fight! Fight!Which is based on using the whole £175m loan to repay capital (even though we cant) and even though you said we wouldn't, and without any thought into how we would then repay the BOE loan, and the interest rate we would have to borrow money on to do that.

You literally said we would only pay interest for 15 years. Who would ever enter a financial arrangement like that ?
Please put me on your ignore list you’re a massive prick ?
“You’re quoting all the wrong figures...”They're the new Morecombe and Wise; very entertaining!
