United only losing one game from now until the end of the season? That is quite a remarkable take.
What gives you that idea? They’ve ‘only’ lost 9 of their 24 league matches this season, or about 38%.

United are not that good either. Surprised at Roy Keane saying they are hunting Spurs down. Doesnt usually come out with stupid statements like that.We need 8/14 to be wins reckon. I'm hopeful that with players returning we might be able to go on a run. We'll finish above Villa for sure they're not that good, it's between us and United
I can potentially see 8 wins looking at our remaining fixtures. Nothing's guaranteed of course but if we were to take 24 points then United would need 30 or 31 points (depending on GD) which i can't see.We need 8/14 to be wins reckon. I think ManU will be much more consistent now, no Europe. I actually have them losing only once to Citeh.
7 wins and 6 draws. So 68 points. You can guarantee me that won't happen Trix?
Then for us it's 5 5 4 so 67 points. We have had some very lucky wins lately and I don't fancy us in 4 of those games.
OK so this is probably on the pessimistic side but it's still why I'm hoping for that 5th place to be CL.
Villa, I agree we'll stay above.
They haven’t had Europe since mid december.
There is very little reason to think we should finish below them, other than outdated ideas of what Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur represent.
Agree. Utd are hilarious because of the media hype. A couple of games ago it was that Mainoo saved ETH from the sack against Wolves and now they are hunting us down (the gap then was 6 and the gap now is 6 so at that pace they can hunt forever)United are shite. They managed to get by for a few years after Fergie, a lot of teams playing scared against the idea of 'Manchester United' and 'Old Trafford' rather than the dross in front of them and the decaying brickwork around them. But the scales have fallen from everyone's eyes now, that's why teams like Bournemouth can go to Old Trafford and batter them.
They're still good enough to beat a lot of teams on their day because they have individual players like Rashford and Fernandes who can create magic from thin air, but overall the squad is pretty mediocre and even the good players are incredibly inconsistent. Ordinarily I'd say first eleven comparisons lie somewhere between reductive and outright useless, but the disparity is such that I think it bears mentioning - there's a decent argument to say that not a single United player would get in our first eleven.

The FPL FDR is set at the start of the season and doesn't change. It still has Newcastle as a more difficult fixture than us despite performances this season, it still has Chelsea and United as a same level fixture as us.According to fpl fixture difficulty we have the hardest fixtures left out of all our rivals
The supposed biggest club in the world have finished outside the top 4 in 5 of the last 10 seasons.I think there have been ten full seasons since Ferguson left Man U, and in those seasons we have finished above them five times and they have finished above us five times.
In the ten (and more) seasons prior to Ferguson’s departure, we didn’t finish above them a single time.
Depends how long porro and Udogie are out for.We should be more than capable of putting a run together now that we have all of our key players back and fit. Utd have flip flopped between decent and hopeless under Ten Hag. It's in our hands.
have you factored in how shit they are? and that they just lost martinez and shaw?By my calculations Man U beat us by 1 point, so we will need a draw at Villa and 5th place CL IMO.
Can't imagine it's long if they're being assessed ahead of tomorrow's gameDepends how long porro and Udogie are out for.
Let’s win our game today first hey palIf Liverpool don't win today and we do does that mean we're in the title race 'again'
This is the thread for idle speculation But I think I might have jinxed it anyway. Brentford defended well against us of course but are having a nightmare today FFSLet’s win our game today first hey pal
