No way we'll lose all four of them.

We'll get beat at Anfield, but we'll take points in some of the other three.

We'll have more space just like Villa away.

Stilll think 4th for us.

We may get a draw or two from those game but I just don't see us winning anyway. Maybe if we were playing how we were prior to the Chelsea game but Villa game aside, we haven't been that convincing lately.

What no one ssems to be taking into account is how well we play when our first choice back 4 start Porro , Romero,VDV, Udogie. I think that since the begining of theseaon we have won 10 drawn 2 and lost 2 when thy start. including the Chelsea debacle and the cup game against City. If we can keep that back line healthy it will make so much difference to us and allow our midfield more freedom and able to play the kind of football they played pre Chlsea.

Impressive stats for that back 4. Wasn’t aware how good they were. Keep them together and we will be 4th, no problem.
Next 3 games are pivotal. Villa have City and Arsenall away with Brentford H in the middle. Quite possible they will only get 3 pts max We have to perform in those away games with West Ham and Newcastle. Watching them yesterday their central defence is poor, both teams.
Forest H in between. Looking for 7 points. Will put us 4th with a game in hand

I think we'll finish fifth. I reckon we'll get a max of 13 points from our remaining games and think Villa will get 14.

I just don't see us getting anything from our away matches of West Ham, Newcastle, Liverpool & Chelsea, I can see us losing all four of them.

That seems to be overly pessimistic to me considering that we have not lost away to Arsenal, City, United, Villa and Everton this season.

It seems that Ollie Watkins has done his hamstring. Went off at ht yesterday. Villa are a bit light in that dept especially as they have City and Arsenal in next 3 games.

4th is absolutely on, be nice to actually have an idea when the Chelsea match will be played.
Cannot see what the problem is. We know all Chelsea’s games. No replay for the cup semi final. Not in Europe. Just avoid a European week and stick it on tv. Must be Sky who are holding this up. No doubt wanting it to be near end of season,

We play better against the big teams (like Chelsea)

100%. They are hoping something is riding on so they can market it as the battle of the bridge 2.0. They did something similar with the rearranged arsenal fixture a couple of years back. Anything to manipulate drama.

It’s so frustrating. A couple of wins against Wolves and Fulham (teams we should be beating) and we’d be firmly in the title race.

Even more so considering we play Liverpool, City and Arsenal in the next few weeks. Could have been a title race in which the fate was in our hands.

We haven't but those teams will attack us and it may suit us

If we are sharp enough that is

Don't let it frustrate you.

It's a promising sign.

In Ange's first season we are cursing a couple of results that would have us very close to the top.

We have a lot of room to move into but this was always going to be a tester of a season for Ange.

I thought it would have been very rare for Ange to get his best 11 so quickly. At the beginning of the season we thought we had it but clearly we are still 2 or 3 positions away from being a title contender.

We have to get that right though.

So where we are right now, Amge has done tremendously well.

In fact, I have kind of zoned out a little. Not because I am bored, not because I don't like things but because I don't think it really matters where we finish this season (barring a total collapse).

I think its cause we have learnt everything we have needed to from this season.

Ange will now know exactly what he is missing for next season, we will have European football and should be able to manage on all fronts much better

Agree with all of that... Ange has certainly done tremendously well, you could argue even better than Klopp and Guardiola in their first season.

I guess my frustration lies with some of the players who seem happy to just cruise along and settle for fourth or fifth place when there’s still a slim chance of achieving greatness.

So very true. These have been natural growing pains, and these matches have so many fine margins. Looking at the span of the whole, we have to walk away impressed thus far. Ange has put his seal on the team already, and we've gotten off the line in this long race to success very quickly indeed.

If that's the case and Ange senses that, even better cause he'll know who to replace and get in players who have more hunger

I'm relatively concerned this season could end up on a really sour note. We seem to be struggling for form and labouring through games and we've got a very tough run coming up. Could do with hitting some form soon.
