How admirable to see superstar footballer Steven Fletcher giving half of the £250,000 fee he received from his transfer to Burnley from Hibernian to Hibernian's youth development department. Nice and extremely generous gesture to the people who helped him get where he is today and help future wanabees.:clap::clap:

Excellent gesture.

Makes you wonder about those greedy feckers (mostly Ars**al and Chel$ki) who wouldn't give up a percentage of their weeks wage as a one-off a couple of years back for the nurses thingy.

Wasn't he linked to Real Madrid last year? Didn't even know he had moved on, how much did Burnley pay?

Yes he is a SUPERSTAR because he appreciated those who helped him get where he is!! Unlike most other proffesionals who are mercenary and just out for themselves. One who dropped in my estimations was Mr Terry our England Captain who announced that he was no longer swap shirts with other players as he felt that his children deserved them. As if they don't get eough already with his paltry wages, and need all of his shirts too!!!! :duh:  Greedy Bas---d.

Peter Crouch did the same when he left QPR and donated his signing on fee to the club as they were struggling financially at the time.

Ye she was linked to Real Madrid last year but all he knew was written in paper no known contact directly. Burnley paid 3million for him.

Cheers, surprised there wasn't more competition for him if he was deemed good enough to at least be linked with Madrid. Dunno why I asked how much they paid, I'm at my computer and could have just googled it, lazy git I am.
