Great free kick. I know we have Maddison now but why have we never used him before? Swear he always scores free kicks for Korea..

I need Sonny back for the Brighton game. Taking my 7 year old for the first time and he’s gonna be gutted if he doesn’t see him.

F'ing hell. They'll rename the country after him at this rate.

Delighted for him.

I don't see how anyone can't not be happy for Sonny if he is the one to lead South Korea to glory.

Yeah yeah you don't care about internationals etc but look what it means to HIM. A happy Sonny, is a wonderful Sonny.

Yep. I completely understand where those wanting him back ASAP are coming from, and even share those feelings myself, but overriding that is to see him cement his God status back home. Nice guys have to finish first sometimes , right?

That's nasty. I didn't even see the studs into Hwang's left ankle at first, I thought the check was for the collision into his other shin.

All those free kicks wasted by Kane since Eriksen left, should have let Sonny take them. Sonny not coming back for Brighton then , unless Aussies score.

I always support our players when they play for their countries (aside from games against England). If they come home early, great I won't be unhappy about it. But I'd rather see them doing well and winning.

Like Lloris for example. I was so pleased for him, and ultimately it's the only thing he won during his tenure with us.

It's even better when they're our captain and especially more so when they're the national captain as well.

Ok I definitely saw Sonny touching the hamstring after that race to the ball against Ryan.

Who would have thought that "Nice One Cyril" would one day become "Nice One Sonny" and be seen on fans scarves in Qatar.
