after 3 games

So we have 6 points after 3 games, with 7 new players and no bale; thats a good return.

But the 4-3-3 formation dont work to good imo. We have just conceded one goal, but we struggle to create clear cut chances.

-Two "enforcers" in midfield is enough, and a third should be sacrificed for a more creative player.

-Chadli is not good enough to be out uncontested #1 for lwf. He should be there for europe, backup and competition.

-our fullbacks have a terrible end product, but they are young so have time to improve, but would like to upgrade on one of them for an immediate upgrade.

-kaka is available on the cheap. He would be a great lwf for us right now, and gettable. Contreaou is out of favour and we need to make him our deadline day special.

In two days i want this to be our two teams (and attainable):

Kaka - eriksen - lamela
Sandro - paulinho
Contreau - verts - kaboul - walker
Lloris

Defoe
Chadli - holtby - townsend
Capoue - dembele
Rose - Daws - vlad - naughton
Brad

Ade, Benny, gomes, lennon and gylfi could leave if we need to balance books/wages and carroll must leave on loan.

These teams have tons of goals in them, and can even see us making money and saving wages with these changes. (i obviously take for granted that bale is gone)

I agree with your sentiments but find it impossible to create a team thread like this with players that we haven't bought yet, and may never buy.

I'd rather concentrate on the tangible and what we have now. I do think that we only really need 2 of the centre mids at our disposal as we need to sacrifice a little bit of power for a bit of guile. My ideal team with what we've got right now is:

Lloris​

Walker Kaboul Vertonghen Rose​

Sandro Paulinho​

Lamela Holtby Eriksen​

Soldado​

This is based on the assumption that Capoue may be out injured and that Kaboul and Sandro are now coming back into fitness. If either of them aren't fit then it'll have to be Dawson (too early for Chiriches) and Dembele respectively. Dembele doesn't get forward enough to provide any real attack and, IMO, has been out of form lately. Holtby, Lamela and Eriksen provide a much more creative outlet. This has an excellent blend of power and creativity in that middle to help Soldado.​

The thing is, in a 433 there is supposed to be one defensive midfielder, not 2 or 3.

We just need to play with Sandro or Capoue in the middle of the 3, then Holtby and Eriksen would be my choice for easier home games but in away games or tough home games playing with Dembele or Paulinho.

We should always line up like this for tough games imo:

Townsend /Chadli - Soldado - Lamela

Holtby/Eriksen - Capoue/Sandro - Dembele/Paulinho
