Al Jazeera, to their credit, provide what is possibly the easiest and least patronising news coverage on TV right now. It doesn't aspire to be like the American broadcasters, like the BBC News appears to, so if they could apply the same kind of logical, no-nonsense, no frills approach to their football coverage then i'm all for it :up:

From what I've seen of it via LinkTV AJ tries to copy BBC right down to the patronising talking down we know better than you attitude, and stupid pronunciations like they're talking to a kid. Even the studio set is very BBCish. BBC did have a hand in forming AJ didn't it? It may have been an advisory role, but I think it was more than that.

Hope AJ gets the rights just to see the reaction. Its going to be hilarious to see the shit people say.
