Couple of reports out there about this guy who is a left back.

Tottenham have paltry €3m first offer for La Liga defender turned down
Real Sociedad had an excellent season and came fourth in La Liga, which gets them into Champions League qualifying. the defender started 36 La Ligafor the Spanish club so is certainly their first choice and the offer just appears to be ridiculously low for the 27 year old.
Alberto de la Bella, who has represented the Catalonia national side, can also play further up the pitch and would be an interesting addition to Tottenham's squad
. AS claim that other offers have been coming in too, so if Andre Villas Boas really wants him then Tottenham will need to return soon with an improved offer.
He has two years left on his current contract so it's not as though Real Sociedad are under pressure to sell right now, his value may drop if he doesn't renew over the next season but it's hardly likely to go below £2.5m and it just doesn't seem conceivable that the club would consider letting him go for anything like that.
They'll be confident of getting into theChampions League group stage and that brings serious income. Even if they were short of money, and Spanish football is in a permanent struggle with debts, then the offer would still be too low because the club would probably have to pay similar to replace him.
This one has come from nowhere and it's not a particularly exciting transfer rumour, which would make it odd if it's from thin air. However, there's always the possibility that theplayer's agent is briefing the press in order to get his name into the rumour mill and get him a move or a contract extension but suggesting that a Premier League team valued him at such a low price probably wouldn't help with promoting him.
