How do you know we haven't already gone back in for him Kendall, things change very quickly.

I think he would prefer us. 27, wants to play in the biggest/best league in the world, knows we have quality.

I think if we go in he's ours, he has done a great job of burning his Zenit bridges

I agree with that, I just can't see this happening. Would love to see him sign but as I have said for ages, we had our chance in the summer and didn't get it done. There is nothing to make me believe we can sort out what we couldn't all summer in about 7 hours.

If it's true and talks have broken down between hi and the arse I couldn't see a better opportunity for Levy to do what he does best .. swan in with hours to go offering more attractive terms and get the player. Only this time we'll end up with someone who will improve our side. This is the right moment, I'm with fazza all the way now!

I don't know mate, Zenit will be aware that his value is falling and also that Advocaat can't work with him anymore. They could perhaps afford to be a little calculated last time, now I'm sure they just want to get a deal done which suits all. £18m cash will do it.

SSN saying the terms offered have definitely been rejected by Arshavin. Silly him going back to Heathrow as no planes are moving. (Much warmer in the WHL Boardroom and he could be having a nice cup of coffee and a sandwich there instead).

ZSP say they want £50 million but personal terms are up to Arshavin and he has said no thanks.

SSN implying it is a message to "other clubs to come and get him"!

They want £15 million upfront plus AA has to pay off a fee of £3 million I believe so effectively its £18 million upfront which we can actually afford.

Could it just be a case that we were leaving this one until Arsenals attempts broke down? Now we have a chance with him near enough to us to sign. Please do it Levy.

Doubt it will have much impact, but I've sent an e-mail to the Press Office at the Lane stating "Arshavin, not Keane, and don't let Lennon go."

1012: Man City striker Jo has been spotted at Everton. However, it is not looking good on the Andrei Arshavin-Arsenal front. Apparently the Gunners have not stumped up enough cash
