All there is are rumours.

Bale - I cant see being fit.

Lennon - is "supposed" to be fit.

I'm sceptical as always.

Would not rush them back for City - I dont see a win for us anyway. A half fit Bale and dodgy Lennon would be of little use. Save them. We need them fully fit not rushed back.

Why don't you see a win for us? City have nothing to play for. The league is almost Uniteds and City will almost definetly get 2nd place plus the fact they would of played 3 games in 7 days whilst Spurs have had a 2 week break. I for one would be really annoyed if we didn't take advantage of this and get all 3 points. Wigan were the much better team last night at the Etihad so i don't see why we can't win on sunday. We need either Lennon or Bale fit though in my opinion.

Aguero went off injured last night with a hammy problem which made me happy.

I think they are just far stronger all over the pitch than us. Lloris and Vertongen aside and they would not be automatic choices to get in the City side. They are on a different level of player to us and should for me have won the league again, but the manager is not up to much. Barry and Milner aside, Yaya Toure and the guys up front are different gravy, up there with Real and Barca.

I think sadly he is a long way off........yes I'm a pessimist. But that twist was not just a two week lay off.

We all watch enough football - for me its a 4 weeker plus.

Would be great to get all 3 back this sunday would be crazy to rush them back when their not fully fit and lose them for the rest of the season.

I personally think we have played well as a team in the last 2 games without them its only been a few sloppy errors at the back that have cost us the wins

Physio room has Aguero coming back on the 27th....big plus if he's out, he's one who could really hurt us. Yes they have Tevez and so many options but Aguero is the one I would fear most - running at our back line.

Being fresh does not equal to being good enough. Without 2 of our most important attacker and our only goal threat, we are simply not good enough. If we do get a result, it will be luck more than skills that get us through. I know someone will say grit, but I expect that from pros whether they are good or not.

I think you just answered your own question.

Sunday is the game.....if we beat City it will give us the boost we need, top 4 will be ours to throw away, don't get me wrong, it won't be over if we fail to win, but it will ours almost if we win.... i hope i'm wrong, but i can't see us beating City with Azza and Bale both out, one maybe, both we are fucked.imo.

It doesn't matter how important this game is to our fortunes.
Any half fit or almost fit player is not going to make an effective contribution
and will probable put their full recovery back another week or two at least
We have seen in the past with Parker, Bale, Lennon, Hud and others
that this is a foolish policy.
All this; a half fit Bale is better than my nan is just not true.

If he's not fit there's no way AVB will risk him. He has taken a very careful 'comeback' with all injured players this season.
