So proud of the Socceroos and Arnold. Had a torrid qualification run where we played more games than any other side to qualify. Couldn't play any games at home and had to cobble sides together due to covid restrictions and other factors. This group didn't have the talent of the past but Arnold has used that to tap into the Aussie fighting spirit. It might not be pretty and I struggled to get through some of the qualifying games but it epitomises one of the things I love most about team sport and that is a team fighting for each other can defeat a more talented group of players. This achievement is bigger than making the round of 16 in Germany. So happy, so proud. Cmon boys. I dare to dream we can beat the Argies. Half my football team are from Argentina so we gonna have a blast on Sunday morning. Can't bloody wait.
