Proud of the boys today. Was worried about udogie and romera after a couple of early issues and yellow for udogie, but they were great.

Special shouts to Sarr and Kulu today for different reasons, and I like the look of our new boy, I hopes he's ok

Jesus missed what is essentially a sitter when he robbed Maddison in our box. If that was Saka it's likely 2-0.
Wasn't a sitter like the Mbuemo chance, he had Vicario to beat but he wasn't good enough to even get near the target.

Well pleased with that result and performance, especially away from home. Have to say, the penalty, I’d be looking that if it was the other way around so not too annoyed about that . 2 brilliant finishes from Son also .

I know most are pissed at the ref but it's a nailed on penalty in the pro game. If anything I'm glad he used common sense because a red card to Romero is pretty much expected there once the GK has dived the wrong way.

He had the whole goal to aim at. For a Brazil forward that is a golden chance. Got to at least hit the target. If it falls to Odegaard or Saka I think it's 2-0. Thankfully for us it went over, was a momentum changer similar to Fernandes' missed header in the United game.

Our younger players played an amazing game in a hostile atmosphere, Sarr and Udogie started a bit shaky, but both improved greatly in the second half. Vicario and Van de Ven are so good, they seemed like veterans in the NLD. Brennan Johnson perhaps needs more time to be impactful, but he can play as well.

reading the not a pen posts. I thought it was.

It was rubbish. Wasn’t anything Romeo could do. It sucks. But rules of the game I thought a pen.

It was the poster in the dressing room about the conversation with the Arsenal Funeral Director that inspired the lads. Good idea whoever suggested it!

Any ref that gives a red for ball to hand from one metre should be sacked and never allowed to referee again.

I thought it was a penalty. But I'm surprised they didn't show Maddison getting pushed down just before the handball

Want to get into that other thread tomorrow and see what those flukey twats are saying now after their arrogance. At home and rely on an o.g. and dodgy pen. Deserved to win that. Long live I'm a hipster ball ! COYS!
Edited twice and A.,n,ge-ball is still been changed to hipster ball. Sort it out mods.

Arsenal away is our toughest match of the season and considering how early it is in our rebuild we had a really good display today.

I’m super impressed by how well our young guys, Udogie, Micky etc handled this match.

Really happy with how the team played. Subs in the last 15 minutes took some of the punch out of us but we cut through them plenty of times to be encouraged. More time to practice and these moves will create better chances. The one at 2-2 where it started with Vicario and ended with Porro almost sliding in a cross for a Son/Soloman tap in was majestic football.
