They'll give space to play and, luckily, Ange will tell the team to play. It could end up being a big humbling but we'll match them in midfield at the very least - last few seasons we were getting completely overrun in midfield, so couldn't set up attacks and left the defence exposed. That's not the case this season, so I think it'll be 4-3 but can't tell you which team will win it.

Gut feeling we might get torn a new one, they are potent in attack not sure they will miss any gifted opportunities. But hoping to be wrong, and anything can happen on the day! COYS!
Yeah this is my feeling. Sheff United played through our press with ease a few times but lacked the final 3rd quality. If arsenal do that we are in trouble

I think it'll be 2-2. I have a feeling we'll go behind early, go into half time level, take the lead in the second half but they score soon after and the game stays end to end but no winner.

Just don't give it to them. No red cards, no goalie howlers, no stupid pens given away. Be sensible, play our game, don't rise to their mouthy bullshit and see where it takes us.

My hope is Sonny steps up. Not that he hasnt in the past. But he becomes our talisman. And maddison controls the game like hoddle used to. But as always. Im worried.

Hate this fixture.
I’d prefer to, and expect to see Biss and Sarr control the game and give Madders the space to win it for us.

My biggest concern is that we go into the game too pumped up. We’ve seen it before where we’ve got a stupid red card that ruins the whole game plan. We need strong heads for this one. Not sure we are ready to go toe to toe with them just yet. 🤞COYS!

I have already mentally prepared for a proper drubbing. I shall check the score afterwards and hope to be pleasantly surprised. This was easier under Mauren/Conte. No hope = no disappointment.

So true 😂 this one will actually hurt if we lose as we have a genuine chance but I love that for the first time since peak Poch times I feel like we will go there and try to attack and dominate them and have a chance of winning whereas under Jose/Conte it was just we will sit back on our box for 90 mins and a case of how many will we lose by.

Hopefully Ange & Sonny get us up for this one. I can see Bissouma and Maddison playing really well.

Key is first goal and can our attackers be clinical as that is the main weakness at the moment but we have threats everywhere the way we play now so bring it on.

If we honestly looked at a best combined XI right now I'd go with something like this:
Vicario/Raya (about the same)

White/Porro (same)
Romero
Saliba
Zinchenko (altho Udogie looks a real talent but Zinchenko probably edges it just right now)

Bissouma/Rice (their fans will obviously say Rice but we know how bloody good Bissouma has been for us, phenomenal under Ange and in this system)
Maddison
Odegaard

Saka
Son
Martinelli

That would be my honest team. We are closing the gap back to them again and we have some decent options off the bench in Richy and Johnson etc.

For me it'll be about our wingers, can Kulu and Solomon produce some real quality in a game of this magnitude and/or if not then Richy and Johnson, if so I think we have a chance, if not then they might overpower us slightly with their attack but for sure we can get at their defence, 1st goal is massive imo.

So 3 draw
5 Arsenal
3 Spurs

What do others think on this?

Hate to break it to you but both Darren Bent and Kevin Campbell have said that not a single Spurs player would get in their combined XI. How could anyone argue with 2 such intelligent bastions of impartiality.

I can already sense that I'm going to completely lose my sh*t on Sunday when half our team are booked for just looking at the ref wrong.

As President of the 'Take a Draw now' Society
I would take a draw now.
The Society acknowledges that we could win, we might win
but form and logic go out the window in this fixture.
So our policy is to advocate playing the percentages against rivals for top four
and take a draw now.

Membership now open .

To be fair, if I was a neutral it would be 11-0, with the only doubt being Son (and he'd only come in over Jesus up front).
They should have won the league last year as we languished in 8th so it's easy to argue player for player they are better based on what you'd seen last year.

But we've seen 5 games from the new boys and Porro, Bissouma, and Romero looking like different players under Ange so can be confident this isn't the case but if you hadn't watched all of our games you wouldn't know it.

I live five mins away from that tunnel. Arsenal media both official and not like to use it to present some urban rough toughness when in fact the railway goes over the top and for the most part it’s cyclists and families going too and from Highbury fields. Lovely cafes both sides of it. So it annoys me when they make it into some bollocks it’s clearly not.

I just hope we don't get caught playing out from the back early. Someone like Destiny getting pinched and then they score. That would be my nightmare.
