ITV fucking love Walcott don't they, he has done fuck all but they are going on and on about him playing as a striker and running us ragged

Maybe he's given them rights for a televised version of his shitty children's book.

Because you don't play 442 against Arsenal, ever. You don't play 1 formation, you decide how to beat the next team you are playing and if Tim looked at Arsenal and thought playing the same team other than bentaleb was sensible, then he is not good enough to manage us at the top end of the table.

The united result was good but fortunate and united are poor and are being found out.

Strong hindsight in this post.

Maybe you are correct but I dont think you can base that on this game. Far too many non optimal variables.

We have so many injuries and have played so many games I dont think it would make the blindest bit of difference. They are top of the league and flying.

Weve done pretty well imo bar the fuckwittery of Rose.

So no I dont agree that we need a new manager if he persists with the lineup and formation that has seen us win 2 away games out of two. One at OT.

One fuck up from Rose and suddenly we need a new LB to replace him. Everyone seems to forget the good games he's had.

Not that there have been too many of those…

Going forward, he's okay, but then you'd expect that since he started life as a LW/LM. Defensively, he's always looked shaky, and I really don't see him improving in that respect. It's a shame, but there it is.

Well top four was always my priority but this is still pretty bloody gutting.

Was hoping Tim would show more tactical awareness and flexibility in a big away game like this. Not saying it would of changed the result but surely it would of given us a better chance.

1 player in the box, Ade, for a cross when Spurs are down 0-2 and 1 man up

That's exactly what pisses me off.

Other teams bomb forward when they are on the attack. We watch the guy with the ball from the centre circle.

I don't know whether it's tactics, fitness, or effort that is to blame.

Tough last couple of games but happy we won at manure. I think with all our injuries we had no plan B and I am afraid the side all look tired. Still I will take the three points from New Years Day

Guess we have to factor in tiredness, we've roughly used the same players last few games and the injury list is starting to take its effect.

I'd expect reinforcements to be back for palace

@iainmacintosh: "Adebayor? What's the score?" sing the Arsenal fans. I'm not sure he's been paying enough attention to this game to know the answer.
