We have been a few inches above them in the last few years. We have finished above them when we had a great team and held on when the team was transitioning.
It now feels like we are creating a gap. When Henry was smashing them in, it hurt. But I always respected how they played and how great the team was.
When the Jol Keane berbatov era happened we took the hard fought wins and made the best of it.

with the shoe potentially going on the other foot. It seems like they’re all penis heads. When they sign Milner (redknap) l, 2027 walker (ziege) and some other shite. I don’t think they will be as pleasantly realistic.

can’t wait

We can’t afford to slip up again. Getting cl football this season was pivotal in creating a big gap between us and them. Going forward with the business we have done so far we can literally leave them in the dust.

The strange thing is-I always feel Arsenal are an injury or two away from collapsing. Even with signings to key positions they always seem short of backup . Their starting 11 is very good and I rate them highly however, they are unable to compete with the top 6 at their best. They have the worse record for coming from behind and that’s a mental weakness. All this with no Europe football- good luck Arsenal for this season. They are All-fur-coat-and-no-knickers.

Not just injuries but suspensions. 16 red cards since Arteta took over.

The only 'tough' midfielder they have is Xhaka and he's a complete liability.

Yes your right (forgot about that) they do have a tendency to throw toys from pram on occasion. This reflects poor leadership

I still can't fathom how over excited they are about Jesus. They think he will score 20+ PL goals, no chance. They really think they have signed an elite number 9m.

I am enjoying how the club are currently able to put some miserly bids in for players which will clearly never be accepted, but the fans are lapping it all up. The club will be let off the hook because "they tried"
When Levy tried that with us we all went mad ?

Oh they'll go mad if it doesn't come off. They just think every player is desperate to play for them.

If Jesus was the player so many of them believe he is why did Man City sell ? I bet they don't dare ask themselves this question.

I dunno, cast offs from elite teams aren't necessarily an awful thing.

I cannot see Jesus actually improving them but I can understand that they need something (anything) to get excited about and optimism in football is essential.

I also don’t think they realise how rare and difficult it is for a player to score 20+ in the PL. It is no easy task and I don’t think Jesus gets more than 15 next season.

Exactly. I'd say if he scores 12 - 15 pl goals he'd have done very well.
