A
They were also missing quite a few for the first three games of the season when we were all laughing at them.
Are those were the days
I remember so well
We were top
They were bottom
Such a shame

Zaha and Olise out for Monday. Feels like they’ve had this sort of luck all season. Remember they literally played Leeds U18 team, very weak Southampton team, Leicester with no Vardy the list goes on. The one time they were slightly weakened for NLD they managed to get it called off.

FFS! How does it happen every single time. For years.

Talk NLD will be midweek of May 9th that’s midweek after we are away at Anfield which will likely be Sunday 4.30 game. They have Leeds home probably get Saturday 12.30 slot ?

Surely it should be taken into consideration that they cancelled… and this should be on our terms..?

Hold your crying and outrage until it's actually happened. Arse v Leeds may just as well be Sunday 1.30, we don't know yet.

Yeah, and (you'd think) that we have some credit in bank after stepping in and having a last min televised game (Norwich was it?) because we had onsite media facilities. Last minute cancellations really screw the broadcasters on the advertising deals they have done as suddenly you have millions less eyeballs than you would have. Wouldn't underestimate how annoyed they'd have been at this.

Plus, gotta remember, this is at home. Well be WELL up for it. Know its the hope that kills you but imagine how fun life will be if we take 4th by beating them at the lane, can just see poor lego head fuming now...

People never learn!
Our former player Sandro did one once in training; after he'd had one knee injury and he crocked himself for over 6 months that time. Others the same- glad that maybe our lot aren't getting involved for this reason

What do people think about Neville's opinion on 4th probably being as good as it gets for them?

I have to agree to an extent.

City and Liverpool aren't going anywhere.
Chelsea will stay up there for now.

I believe, with Conte, we have a major edge over them. The other thing is, whilst their young players look very good, none of them have yet shown they are big game winners.

I've seen a lot of people say they are like us in Poch's early years. There's some similarities but I don't think its enough.

Kane was already scoring goals against Arsenal, Chelsea and winning us big games. Eriksen had already shown he was top class, I don't think Odegaard is at that level.

Vertonghen and Dembele were very very highly regarded and better than what Arsenal have at that age.

I also think whilst Ramsdale has received a lot of praise, he's always capable of dropping a major clanger. Time will tell in whether he is that good.

If they finish 4th I suppose they could spend, and the CL is attractive.

But some players don't just think about 1 season, they'll look at us with Conte and think it may be smarter to join a winner. Chelsea often finished below us but beat us to players

Newcastle will start to target players that both us and Arsenal want and offer them more money.

However, I imagine Neville is believing that United will be one of those clubs that get in the way of Arsenal. They could be but I think they are in a really bad place as they don't seem to have the right strategy or direction.

Certainly interested to see what they do in the transfer market this summer. They've averaged a net spend of around £100m a year the last 3 years.

I believe they're about to lose Lacazette, Elneny and Nketiah on free tranfers.

I guess their earnings are high enough to be able to afford this but surely they'll be relying on CL football if they're not generating any funds through sales.

Palace will not care at all with tonights game, the semi is their season and the players will not compete at the level they should and needed to beat Arsenal.
Arsenal will go one nil up and play out the game similar as with Villa with the Palace players wanting to avoid a massive defeat only. One nil is almost acceptable. I hope Im wrong and they give it all but I very much doubt it. Vieira will not do us any favours Im sure.

I don't agree that Viera won't care- it's against his old club- he'll want to put one over them , get his team playing smoothly and hope his interview for a future at Le Ars goes well for him at least.

Can't agree.
For me,The semi is their season/a final/possible Europe/trophy. Beating Arsenal would alienate him amongst their supporters. The job at arsenal is not there for him because he's not that good as a coach, amongst the best around Europe, for a club as Arsenal. He will have one eye on the semi and not take chances with any player that has a slight knock/injury.

He would only get Arsenal if they are mid table.

Viera will want to win tomorrow and (not sure if he was interviewed for the Ars job or not) will want to show them they F'd up by hiring Arteta over him/they should hire him in the future. The fans won't turn on him because palace beat em, they will turn on Arteta for not winning.

It's what makes this place great- we think differently but instead of insulting each other we put our POW to one and other in a nice way.
We differ on this and that's ok.

Football is all about opinions that’s what makes it go round. Although I still think I’m right and your wrong.
