Am I going to get pelters for wishing that, to top it all off, assuming we qualify for the CL, we then sign Ramsdale? He is a cut above every other player in that squad.

For me this all comes back to Arsenal calling off the NLD earlier in the year. Thurs defeat was s hammer blow. They could have lost 4 months ago without it being an issue. They would have had a clear week to play NU without injuries and suspensions. The cheating has come back to haunt them. Karma.

I was in a cab recently and the driver said he used to be an arsenal fan but switched because they "don't win fuck all". He apparently now supports Liverpool, glory hunting at its finest but it left me feeling amused.

He massively overrated. He's not a bad keeper, and his distribution is good but he's so erratic, and emotional. He's been lucky this season that his madness hasn't cost a goal, but it will. Don't want him

They could not have asked for more favourable conditions to hit the top 4 this season.

They had no European football at all and went out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round.

Spurs and Man Utd started the season so poorly that both teams had to sack their managers.

Leicester struggled with injuries and European football and massively underperformed.

And Arsenal still couldn't capitalise on that. All three of the above teams will be much stronger next season, and Newcastle certainly seem like they'll be in the mix.

I honestly think that is Arsenal done as Champions League contenders for a good few years. Manager, players and board just aren't anywhere near good enough, Wouldn't be surprised to see another 8th place finish next year.
One million percent this.

The irony of Arsenal laughing at Spurs for making DVDs of good results for the last 10 years and now we are a draw at Norwich away from having an 8 episodes All or Nothing series

Fucking Shearer going on about Ashley and Newcastle "getting their club back".

You've been bought by a REGIME mate. You are just a empty husk for sportwashing. Demand that Newcastle LGBT fans be given every right to be themselves in Suadi Arabia and see how far you get...

Fuck me. I'm glad Newcastle won but the hypocrisy of those blinded by oil slave wealth is sickening...

Their supporters can be disappointed , they just need to express it in a better way. I was almost writing I felt a little sorry for their young players tonight but erased it. They just not good enough. Poor coach and poor club management.
