The pundits think (probably just guessing) it was a hamstring for Micky but there's no way they'd let him back out after half time if it was. You can't "run off" a hamstring issue.

Like I said before he was clearly holding his hamstring whilst on the ground getting treatment. Maybe that was in addition to what happened during the 1st half?

I can see why a lot of clubs don’t like us tbh. Our fans always seem to care more about taunting than singing pro spurs songs.
I doubt that's a major reason but I find it annoying as it immediately suggests the reason for our great win is more down to how ' shit' they are. We all know that's not the case so why not give more praise to our individual players instead.

The cherry on top is the McGinn red. Not just the ban, but it was so clear and obvious, Villa can’t blame the ref or VAR etc. I can’t stop smiling
He made absolutely no attempt to play the ball whatsoever, it was a red all day long and we were lucky that this reckless challenge didn't do serious damage to Udogie.

They got everything they deserved.

Fantastic second half by us, but we dominated the whole match.

Hope VDV is okay. 🙏🙏🙏
Yeah they went out inspired by Bolton's 10-0-1 formation whilst their players were getting their diving practice in.

Really pleased with how much more positive we were in 2nd half. Villa looked average and we fully exposed them once we upped the tempo.

Defensively that has to be our best performance of the season surely? We didn't give Watkins a sniff bar giving the ball away first half. I don't remember Vicario being too troubled apart from the Zaniolo effort at the corner that he smothered bravely.

Obviously I hope VDV is fine but we're in a position now where Dragusin can come in if not. Personally I think it was just a knock and a precaution.

Good, put those upstarts in their place. Next...!
I don't mean this disrespectfully but in my opinion their position in the table is fraudulent. And I expect a load of people to say 'the league table doesn't lie etc.' Well it does, and they are a prime example. A few bad ref decisions, a few bits of good luck/ bad luck and we're looking at a +/-15 point swing across a season.

I know there are different ways of winning football matches but in both games against us (even the one we lost) there was one clearly technically better team and it wasn't them. This also applies to utd where we have been comfortably better than them in both games but somehow they were close to us on points.

What we need to stop doing is being the better team and managing to drop points. Injuries haven't helped as Ange's system is high risk so you need your best defenders available in particular.

He clearly had something as Drago was warming up over half time. Just hope that pull-up just before he went off didn't turn it from a slight strain into a pull.

Villas remaining fixtures are very similar to ours. They have to play Liverpool, Arse, City, Chelsea, West Ham. I think we'll do better against the big teams than Villa will. Today's result was just as important to restore the 6 point gap with United with a game in hand.

Were our fans singing "Matty, Matty, you're a ****" near the end?
I know they were singing "what's the score?" at one point but I'm sure I heard them calling him a ****.
