Maybe we just need to build our attack on getting close to the box and picking up fouls....

While it's nice having him score goals every once in a while with some great free kicks, his corners and set pieces into the box have been shocking.

I think his goalscoring success rate from free-kicks is much higher than Bale's, certainly whilst the latter was at Spurs (though less flashy).

Kids quality. Need to start playing him in the Modric role and build the of the squad around him. LVG will love him.

You must be forgetting how many Bale missed. Eriksen looks better from freekicks.

And Sherwood continues to play him stuck out on the left.

Reminds me of when Harry played Modric on the left and everyone thought we'd wasted our money.

Sadly, Walker is probably the one delivering the best free-kicks from wide areas at the moment.

Disagreed. I've been quite impressed by corners last few games. Seemed to pick out Daws & Kaboom a few times, or just whipping things across the box in dangerous areas.

Must be watching a different game to you, his corners have been dreadful.

Taking into account the utter shambles we are at defending them do you really think it's his delivery that's bad?

I think because he whips them in low and hard, when they mess up they look awful. When he gets them on the money they are dangerous.

Keeper was positioned terribly and didn't even try.

But Eriksen is by a mile our best player, we should be building the team around him imo.

I like the idea of starting him from the left and letting him drift, like Silva does at City as it makes him harder to mark, but you do need a capable LB. If we can bring in Blind from Ajax suddenly the left hand side looks decent.

The problem with Eriksen playing LM though is he cant collect it from the defence, and he has very limited space out on the left. He'd dictate the game an awful lot more in the middle
