AVB cared about the club, the fans , and the players ... He was passionate ... Now we will end up with a money chasing manager for a quick buck like capello ... Still seething ... Hope AVB takes the WBA job by the scruff of the neck

Because instead of booing like little bitches we should of stuck behind our manager and our players.

Some of the fans have been disgusting and now we are stuck in the mud

I hope he makes a success somewhere that will give him time and allow him to build on his philosophy and overhaul a team for the long term, which he has had briefed to him at his last two jobs without being given the chance. I'm not sure it will be WBA, but AVB will achieve things with someone and I wish him all the best. It should have been with us. When we are struggling to break the top 4 in a year or 2 and see a team fully backing him while lifting the European cup from afar, maybe just maybe those calling for his head will have wished they had been a little more patient.

I agree with the OP, however...

He was also naive, unwilling to take other people's advice on board, stubborn, and unable to admit that he was wrong...

Also, the football we played was boring and ineffective. He was given plenty of time to change that and he didnt.

It works both ways.

Instead of criticising the paying fans on international telly, maybe he should've taken their boredom on board? Works both ways.

They will be happy when we are back to being the most average club in the league.

They always call for the 'Spurs way', well i've been supporting Spurs from the early 90's so that means 'The Spurs Way' is fucking dire, so perhaps they'll enjoy a return to total mediocrity.
