According to Spanish outlet AS, Spurs are ready to let Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leave, with Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone desperate to pounce.

Although Hojbjerg isn't one of the flashier members of the Tottenham side, he has been a staple under multiple managers since joining under Jose Mourinho. A leader in the centre of the park, he does a lot of the unglamorous work in the engine room.

Personally, I'd keep him at all costs, at least for another season.

Not gonna judge any of the players from the systems that were employed by the last 2/3 managers. Most of them could be completely transformed in Ange's system, we just don't know. Players without pace are likely to suffer, like Dier. And our defence defo needs an upgrade of 3 or 4 players imo.

But PEH is no slouch, and I distinctly remember how desperately we needed him when he signed. He's never injured and always leaves it on the pitch so I'm surprised a lot of people think it's a priority to sell. He would be an absolute beast at athletico.
