Tbf as soon as I saw AVB and Barca B the first player to come to my head was Sergi Samper. I remember when we faced Barca in NextGen I went to the match and thought Pritchard was def our best player but the only player that came close to him and may have been better (could have been blinded by the Spurs tints) was Sergi Samper. Never heard of him beforehand but me and my brother both noticed him and thought he was class. When I read about him after said he was Barcas next big thing so doubt theyd get rid of him tbh. Was a very graceful player controlling the game and unsurprisingly his ball control and passing was brilliant

He's the name I also wanted to see when I clicked this thread. I could actually envision us getting him similar to the Chelscum Romeu buy back clause deal.

For everyone else, basically to make a lazy comparison he's similar in style to Busquets which is why I think Barca could sell him with a buy back clause to stop Busquets from hindering his development. It would be like having Dembele's quasi-DM style and Modric rolled into one.

I highly highly doubt daniel levy will do any kind of buy back clause for any players........... We are not going to develop barca's player and when they matured barca just buy at what ever price they want........... Levy not gonna do it surely !!!

We'd be foolish to but that's seemingly the way RM and Barca operate, either attach a huge sell on clause or buy back.

Would love Segri but i doubt Barca would sell him after Thiago got stolen by BM. They have been giving him some game time this season as i'm sure Xavi's age is going to soon become an issue. I also dont really think we need any more central midfielders and would much rather see us moving for a left back and a right footed left wing/forward. But Sergi is a very good prospect so i would not be unhappy about us signing him.

Would love to add a GK we can trust as a backup to the ranks. Not familiar with the Masip fella, but at 24 years old I can't imagine he'd be that expensive.

Yeah, I was thinking similar. Which, if he can be relied upon as a backup to Lloris as soon as next season would make a ton of sense.
