Who thought Chelsea would wipe the floor with Barca? I think people expected it to be a close game (proven right), with possibly Chelsea sneaking through (2 minutes from being right), but I don't remember hearing anyone say that Chelsea would thrash Barca. Same with Man Utd v Barca. Most people thought it could go either way.

I think it's a smart move by Barca if true.
Etoo had a good season last year but next season Madrid will go after them and they have to improve.
The season before Etoo got himself booked so he didn't have to play at Madrid so he has gone missing when needed.

eto'o is going to be offered a new 2 year deal. If he doesnt take it he will be sold. If the article about ibrahovic was in SPORT instead of el mundo deportivo it might have some credence.

Eto'o isnt going to be sold anyway. His agent said hes going nowhere yesterday as well. why would anyone wants to leave the best team in the world that has just won the treble??

It was actually in both. Both had pictures of Laporta and Moratti meeting at a hotel in Barcelona, both papers then made the jump and presumed it was over Ibrahimovic.
