Barcelona could offer two players in swap deal to sign Tottenham's Richarlison

It has been claimed that the Spanish giants are willing to offer both Franck Kessie and Clement Lenglet to Tottenham in exchange for Richarlison this summer. Barcelona apparently view Richarlison as Robert Lewandowski’s eventual successor at the Camp Nou.

We should start with Araugo and negotiate up from there. If they want Richarlison he's bound to want to go.

The one bit of succession planning it looks like we've done bringing Richarlison in, would make it a silly idea from me.
Although I can quite imagine it would be difficult for him to turn down, all the same, if there was any truth to it.

It's all very well suggesting which Barca players Spurs ought to take, but would those players want to join Spurs?

I reckon he'll jump at that, but do swap deals ever really happen?
If there is truth in it I'd imagine so. At the same time, we'd want players from them that improve our first team as Richarlison imo is our Kane replacement. Lenglet is not good enough to start imo and Kessie is just more of the same with regards to our midfield.

I'd honestly be pissed off if we took any of their cast off's.

They'd at least have to tempt us with Ansu Fati, who we've been linked with.
We can buy Lenglet and Kessie on the cheap if we want them, don't have to give away a top name striker for it.

How about Barcelona tries to negotiate us down from an initial asking price of circa £150m for Brazil's no.9 / 'World Cup Goal of the Tournament' winner, rather than offering us their deadwood? 🤷‍♂️

I think they don't have any money at the moment though.

Then they're really going to struggle to sign anyone from us who we don't actively want to offload.

If Kessie is what they're offering, a realistic target from us would be Ndombele / Lo Celso / Winks, not Richarlison. For Lenglet, perhaps they'd like Sanchez / Reguilon. 😅

By naming a price that they clearly can't afford (i.e. £150m), Barca would quickly take the hint that they need to either offer us a player who we value more highly than Richarlison (+ that fits into our system and instantly improves our starting XI), or accept that Richarlison is unattainable.

I must admit, I haven't seen too much of Araújo, but doesn't he play RCB (i.e. the exact same position as our only current CB who we feel is good enough)? Offering Pedri / Gavi would at least tempt Levy (or our new DoF) to pick up the phone.

When are the media going to notice that Barca pulled the old Football manager transfer tactic of buying as many free transfers as possible only to sell them the following season at a profit.

Sorry this made me laugh~ you don't buy a free transfer, just sign them.

Depends on who the next manager and who replaces FP to see who we let go and who comes in. Also if Kane leaves Richie will be our first choice no9
