If Bayern Munich wants to get a deal done for Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane, it will have to pay the English club €115 million in one lump sum.

I can see the follically challenged leacher f/ing this one up, it's just like Eriksen all over again.

As much as it pains me to think it, If H wont sign then he must be sold or we risk having to watch him ponce round in a utd or chav strip next season, we must not let that happen! that would be the final straw for me.

With respect, who gives a shit if he goes to Utd or Chelsea or Bayern. Once he leaves Spurs that's it! He has a history with Spurs and it will have been a great history but he will be of zero use to us once he walks out the door and it makes zero impact to the 11 we have on the field who's shirt he's wearing.

Will it tarnish his reputation with at Spurs if he goes to a rival? Absolutely! Will I wish him all the best? Nope, I hope he fails hard - But it will still make zero impact to what we do on the field

Agreed otherwise we'll have to put up with hearing about this saga all season about where he's going etc which is already tiring.

Rather we sold and just got on with the season, new era under ange

I'd take that deal if he won't commit to THFC. CL for next season is a real long shot so I think he'll probably go anyway and the thought of him pulling on a MU shirt in the wake of Sheringham and Berbatov is pretty gruesome. The Chavs would be even worse.

Amazing how the media can keep a story ticking along just by changing the price every week.

I think I've said this before, but I'd rather he stays for this season and leaves for free at the end of it. I hate talking about money, but even if £80 - 110 million (depending on which unreliable platform you choose to read)seems ideal, I can't think of a single player we could buy/attract that would give us what H does. Even if he goes for nothing at the end of the season, at least Ange has the chance to succession plan and not be forced to rush things. Who knows, maybe Troy or Dane, or both are ready by then! Either way, it's a gamble but I'm still erring on a new contract for H, or wish him well and let him do what he thinks is best for him at that point.

Them's me sentiments to. I've been saying it for the last few weeks. F..k the money I want him here next season with our new manager and our new team(well almost new). Then lets see what he does next year but we will struggle with out him that much I do know..

Kane is on his way according to German press this morning

We go through this every season for the past 3 years. I would hate to see him go as he has carried us season after season and is one of the Spurs greats if not the greatest, Now aged 29 if we receive 115 million and he will not sign a new contract its aaios Harry and a big thank you. Time for him and the team to move on.

I still don't buy that he wants to go to Germany, but I actually don't really care anymore at this point.
Same here-let him go- fuk the greedy German's, our club is what matters.
Bayern are a heartless club-and Harry will know it in a short while

Fundamentally that’s what I feel too. However, I’m growing more fearful of the constant talk about where he’ll move to that will follow him and us next season. It’ll be deafening and likely very distracting.

Also with no safety net of a contract I feel he will be wary of succumbing to a lengthy injury hence ghosting through games !! unless of course has us in the mix for all 3 trophies ;-)

Also, and yes, I appreciate I'm replying to my own post, but what would be the biggest achievement - a runners-up medal in the world's most elite club competition, or winning a Bundesliga? Just saying.

I would argue that the chances of him next season wearing a UTD, Chelsea (or, even, dare I say it.......an Arsenal one) shirt are a hell of a lot higher if he goes to Bayern.

If he goes there and Chelsea offer £100m next season they'd take it and he could sign without the risk to his reputation or his relationship with Spurs fans.

If people are worried about him turning out for another London club then going abroad for a year is probably the only way he can do it without a massive backlash

Then he's going to the wrong club to do that.
Bayern make contracts for life and are very difficult to wriggle away from if you want to go, and they want to keep you(try getting out of an insurance in Germany). Ironically they're also good at eliminating unwanted surplus.
I think he'll do well at first and get his Bundesliga medal in the most predictable league in the world, but the shit will start to hit the pan in the second season(Tuchel doesn't last more than 2 seasons).
They have a cold history-good luck Harry

Just gotta add I think Chelsea are the most likely new home for Mbappe-closing one of the doors you mentioned.

Season after he leaves for free you still have to find a replacement though we would have lost the money to build for the future.

Ange has to always be building for the future and appreciate your comments seem to come from the heart however need to think with your head. Why wait for him to sign a contract ?;we should take control and get rid if he does not.
